Then the terrorists will have won!
If everyone who comes to this blog every day bought a copy of my book Acoustic Ladyland...I could blog full-time for the rest of the year.

This is good...freedom of choice (bodily integrity) is a sword which cuts 2 ways...remember your freedom of choice (to be free of government control over your body) when they come demanding DNA or biometric samples for their mandatory national ID programs.
Can you say "Liberal fascism" and smile at the same time?
Posted by: WL Mackenzie Redux at February 9, 2008 10:47 AMThanks, Kate. You're the greatest.
PS: have I mentioned that Mark Steyn says everyone "needs this book"?
I mean, have I mentioned that in the last six minutes...?
Sorry.
Posted by: Kathy Shaidle at February 9, 2008 10:59 AMWell, so much for Mark Steyn's judgment. As for Kathy Shaidle....is this the same Kathy Shaidle who doesn't allow comments on her blog?
Is this the woman who has a hissy fit every time she is criticized or held accountable for her ludicrous statements?
No Thanks!!!
Posted by: Gypsy at February 9, 2008 12:14 PMGypsy; s'funny, I was thinking along those lines when I read her convoluted request for feedback on her book (?)...
'Comments' would be the logical route, eh?
Kate,
I just finished re-reading "Entropy" by Jeremy Rifkin 1980's. The Social phenomena & blind dogma of the ignorant half-baked, so-called educated class, is astounding.
Kathy Shadie has obviously lived a very different life than I, and how we have arrived at
some of the same conclusions is a mystery
Very interesting Person "shadie"
... "Comments' would be the logical route, eh?"
Ya, you'd think, but then we're dealing with illogically and deranged trolls on a witch hunt now aren't we?
Try emailing them in! I'm sure that she'll publish the more enlightened ones, eh?
:)
Posted by: ldd at February 9, 2008 2:09 PMHey Gypsie - take a pill already. Schaidle frequents this site often enough that you could get your broad-sides off at her anytime you want. Knock yourself out, buddy.
Posted by: a different Bob at February 9, 2008 2:42 PM...having felt the brunt of her sarcasm because I didn't agree with Roman Catholic ideologies - me wonder what horn she is tooting now.
Kathy, is "Acoustic Ladyland" as good as the Hendrix album, and will I still enjoy reading it 35 years later, as I do listening to the record?
How about a couple of "teasers",or excerpts, so we can see what we're buying, a test drive, by another name?

Then the government will have won!
If everyone who comes to this blog every day sent me ten dollars...
I could blog full-time for the rest of my years.
Or go fishing, which is more appealing to me.
Thanks in advance... ;)
Posted by: Tim at February 9, 2008 6:39 PMTim, you took the words right out of my mouth...
Posted by: Texas Canuck at February 9, 2008 7:02 PMDon,
It makes Le Hendrix sound like Florence Foster Jenkins. But you could check the "Preview" at the link above.
... and I have my own copy, get your own.
Cheers
