Update: Or did she?. After all - the left's never lost an election that wasn't stolen.
And a prediction: "Obama is about to endure a media backlash.". (Not here he won't.)
Not that I'm a fan of Clinton, but I must ask the great sages of yesterday, the ones linked on this site who had so many compelling reasons why the Clintons were finished: "How do you like your crow cooked?"

Posted by: cal2 at January 9, 2008 11:02 AMThe NH results reflect what the "establishment" wants us to vote for. This is a primary that is "owned" by the establishment and there is no surprise the establishment candidates did well.
As of this AM there have be 2 confirmed (and counting) reports of ballot fraud...but this was expected in an establishment primary.
For the rest of us observers who know you can't hold the praetorian elite to account for their rampant usurious crimes against the democratic system, this primary did reveal which of the candidates have gotten into bed with the ruling class cartels.
I always knew Clinton was a schill for NYC financial cartels but was unsure about McCain...we now see the guiding hand of American peerage has 2 horses in the GOP race with Rudy and McCain.

Well, I don't know about eating crow, but the Poll Experts at CNN/USA Today sure have egg on their faces.
IMHO, between Hillary's Vote-Harvesting Machine and White Democrats voting White Obama just got a crash course in American Politics 101.
Either way, it is kind of fun watching the MSM squirm not mentioning Voter Fraud, but yet try to explain how they got it right on every Presidential Candidate ,except PIAPS.
,
Billary, Shrillary or whatever you want to call her is the best hope for a Republican victory in November.
She is the perfect target, her track record is sooooo slimy and flip-floppy and her victory will divide the Democratic support when Obamamania fails to deliver the Messiah for his supporters.
Eh tu Barack ?
Go Hillary go . . .
As a Canuck watching the primaries unfold, I wonder how voting directly for a leader in Canada as opposed to the leader of the party with the most seats being PM, would change our history?
Posted by: Texas Canuck at January 9, 2008 12:13 PM
I know one thing that would change American History Texas-C.
Term Limits for all Political Offices.
,
I think the most important part of the linked post was that the key to Hillary's victory was her ability to get her people to the voting booths. That means having a machine that identifies your voters, drivers to get people who are older or without cars to the polls, people to call them and confirm whether they have voted or not, etc. Hillary probably has this advantage (and will have it going forward) because she has doubtless inherited many of Bill's workers. Barack has to build this machine from scratch in every state, and when you look at the people who supported him, a lot were people who make over $50,000 (i.e. they work, and don't have the time to do many of the above tasks), or students (who love to go to rallies and cheer, but God forbid they would sit on a bank of phones and call potential voters).
This is a powerful advantage for Clinton. Obama had better learn this part of the game quickly if he wants to stay in the race.
Posted by: KevinB at January 9, 2008 12:37 PMThe good thing about Obama and Hillbilly running neck and neck is that they are both going to bring up dirt on each other - it should be good. I'm just wondering if Hillary will go as far to bring the church Obama attends into question and his dealings in Kenya.
Posted by: Joanne at January 9, 2008 12:55 PMApparently, New Hampshire is a riding wherein the people tend to hate the military as in New York, and well, they voted for Hillary there.
It just goes to show that a woman who can attend her best friend's funeral without shedding a tear at graveside, can shed one for herself, within hours, when she realizes she is sucking at the voting booth, is someone the Americans should realize only cares about numero uno - tired or not!
Posted by: Joanne at January 9, 2008 1:02 PMIn summary; she got the vote of lower income, catholic, union member families, with lower levels of education and those who are envious of more financially successful Americans.
Over all I would say that’s not huge demographic in the USA.
I wonder how many republicans voted for Hillory as they think she can be beaten in Nov.
Notice the decrease in number of republicans voting and increase in democratic votes. And, how many out of states votes did she get. Maybe the media should have been filming license plates.
"this primary did reveal which of the candidates have gotten into bed with the ruling class cartels"
This stuff reminds of those times when i rang the bell and got off the bus. Or at least found another seat.
Posted by: dean spencer - fox at January 9, 2008 1:49 PMI knew the Democrats were rolling the dice like Las Vegas but this is ridiculous:
“LAS VEGAS (AP) Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has won an endorsement from the Nevada chapter of the Service Employees International Union, boosting his prospects against rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Obama was expecting to get another boost from labor in Nevada the 60,000 member Culinary Workers Union.”
Obama just says in the Casinos
“gather ‘round the tables with me” and all the culinary workers sign on.
So I guess that seals the nomination up right? This almost makes Canadian politics seem sane.
"Some pundits will probably reference Saturday's debate or Clinton's near-crying moment as reasons she surged late. The exit polling does not back this up."
This may be true, although I've heard all day on talk radio stations that her crying was the reason for her improved showing in New Hampshire.
If dems think crying helped it doesn't really matter what the exit polls showed.
I can't wait for Obama to decide, it's "cry or die" time.
In fact I'll bet all the dems are going to find their inner crybaby.
Go HillBilly!
I watched the results or the Iowa Caucus thinking of how lucky we are to have a much more "logical" system of choosing leaders. If we could get rid of politically appointed Senators, ours would one of the simplest and most stable ways of choosing a leader(s).
I hope they don't choose Hillary. We don't need any more whacked out women in government. Remember Sheilla Copps???? I think women should stay home, take care of the kids and let men run the country.
We shall count some reasons!
1.Why would MSM start broadcasting Results 1 hr
before all the Polls Closed?
2. If MSM starts Broadcasting results 1 Hr before the polls close, does that mean they
also broadcast the Exit Polls.?
3 How many times does MSNBC need to violate Exit Poll rules by providing them to the Democrat "Black Hands", before MSM reports this fact ?
(The MSM hide this evil act in the Y2K Florida debacle)
4. How long does it take to Lose 8,000 votes, if you can indent which Ballot Boxes need to disappear 1 hr before the counting starts ?
5. How do you spell Black Lynching or Dixi-crat ?
It’s a sad day for MSM Journalism & every Real American!
Posted by: Phillip G. Shaw at January 9, 2008 2:50 PMOn the other hand, the GOP seems so much more like a real race and I wish we had this much choice in Canada. The race is just beginning for the GOP, let's hope we get into some real debate.
"Wednesday, January 09, 2008
The Rasmussen Reports daily 4-day rolling average Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Mike Huckabee on top in the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination.
It’s Huckabee 22%, John McCain 19%, Mitt Romney 19%, Fred Thompson 12%, and Rudy Giuliani at 9%. That’s the first time all year Giuliani has slipped into single digits. Ron Paul attracts 3% support "
Maybe the problem on both sides of the border is that Demos and Liberals are simply about emotion and how many special interest groups they can sign up. The only parties that need an action plan are those that plan to act ... GOP and Conservatives.
One thing's for sure. Hillary has balls in those panties.

Posted by: Kevin at January 9, 2008 2:59 PMI dunno Obama had Oprah show up just before Iowa and that resulted in a spike in attention for Obama.
The fact remains the US still has an aging population also known as the baby boomers. These folks want stability and a known entity, after all they are poised to retire.
Obama is a unknown. An adventure those looking down the road to pensions, medicare and medicade aren't likely to take the risk of some new comer to take care of them in their old age.
Posted by: Jeff Cosford at January 9, 2008 3:06 PMDoes anyone really believe the Hillory can spend the next 11 months pretending to be something she isn't. That cackle will come back and so will the harsh voice. And, if she cries for the next 11 months will that make her a tough leader.
Imagine turning all those tears on at a world summit, gee you guys, you hurt my feelings. That's not fair.
When will Dion start crying.
Fraud crossed my mind when they announced polling stations running out to re-supply ballots last night. The Dems strongly object to photo ID's as a reqirement to vote. The reason is so obvious. (Oh, and no points to the first lefty that brings up Florida, many of the major news agencies including the NYT's participated in a recount of the actual ballots there and agreed FL went to Bush.) From Daly in Chicago to JFK to ACORN in Seattle, the Dems do voter fraud by an overwhelming margin historically.
I put nothing past Hillary Clinton. Nothing. For sheer sociopathic cunning and her narcissist's resolve to avoid ego injury, like her fund raising irregularities(Norman Hsu) she'll cross the line and blame others as she has always done.
Ratt - the problem with term limits is that it throws out the good ones as well as the rotters.
Posted by: penny at January 9, 2008 3:11 PMDoes it really matter?
Obama is practically a commie (look at his voting record.
If we must have a demprez (and I'm cetainly not conceding), I'd much prefer it was Hilbilly - weak, gutless, but sort of mainstream: not much worse than McCain who will probably win.
Posted by: jlc at January 9, 2008 4:10 PM"It's not the people who vote that count. It's the people who count the votes." (Josef Stalin)
Sutton NH polls now found delinquent in not counting ballots for a single candidate.

Penny,
My comment about Florida was not to suggest NH was the same. The Misconduct in Florida by MSNBC was "after" the ballet Count. MSNBC (illegally IMO) provided the exit Poll data to the GORE monkeys and they had a California PHD do a Statistical model to Analysis the results. He found that given the Manufacture's published error rate Gore would "Gain" enough of the spoiled ballets to be declared the winner, if & only if the precincts that Gore WON by wide margins were recounted.
HE WAS WRONG:
The recount did not produce those results because the PhD didn't Know how MTBE (mean time between errors) are calculated. Engineers leave those BS tasks to marketing & Marketing uses ISO9000 numbers provided by Vendor Engineers who most likely use a dart Board (random) that fit the competitive field.
Does this sound familiar to the Global Warming Science
