Articles about the lavish spending at the UN are certainly nothing new, they have been around for many years. When you have an unaccountable body spending huge amounts of money that some one else gave them then you have a surefire scenario for waste and corruption. The recent Bali extravaganza is only the latest (if most egregious) example of an unelected and out of control world government in waiting.

Oh boo hoo, the US spends more than a billion dollars a week in Iraq. If they have to contribute less than that once a year for the UN's core budget, I hardly sympathize.
