"Jason Churniyuk still hasn't disclosed who paid off his recreational drug debts from 2000. Could Karlheinz Schreiber have had anything to do with it? Until Jason Churniyuk discloses who paid his bills, we simply cannot know for sure. At the very least, he should be given the opportunity to deny such a possibility before it becomes a widely-spread rumour."And in unrelated yesterday's news, in July of 2000 Stockwell Day took over leadership of the Alliance Party from Deb Grey.
I think Jason Cherniak has stooped to a new low in his blog post on Harper. False innuendo, with no evidence whatsoever, used to smear the PM. That's disgraceful. That's how Liberals operate.
Posted by: ET at December 14, 2007 2:53 PMKate ... you really must stop directing us the slop pails and spittoons of the blog world without at least a clear warning!
Posted by: OMMAG at December 14, 2007 3:07 PMET, You are just the same as John C. When you say that is how Liberals operate. A more correct statement would be, that is how some people operate, rightoids included.

Posted by: Liberal Ron at December 14, 2007 3:09 PMIs Cherniak taking lessons from Warnout Kantsellit ??
Looks like it.
Liberal Ron - yes, you are quite right; I should have said that is how some people operate. But, in our political milieu, the majority of the drive-by smears are from Liberals. You can see this in the current Schreiber hearings. Therefore, political filiation does play a role.
Posted by: ET at December 14, 2007 3:31 PMNow that the elf has moved up in the Liberal ranks he has to tow the line more closely. What he did there is no different than the smears being perpetrated by the Liberal MPs inside the HoC under the protection of the House against libel and slander.
It's the current Liberal pre-election strategy. Lie like a corupt liberal and hope some of the $hit sticks.

Posted by: Jan at December 14, 2007 3:50 PMHa ha, I was thinking of posting something just like Kate wrote on his site, but I knew he would censor it.
Is it just me, or is the wording on Jason's site VERY similar to one of the Liberal attack ads from the last campaign?
First, Jason gets elected to big wig post. Second, Jason says he might shut blog down, posting frequency and idiocy goes down while he posts on books and stuff. Now, Jason is back with a furor posting moronic stuff once again.
Have the higher ups in the Liberal party hijacked Jason's blog to use for spreading propaganda? Is what is posted on his blog now unofficially coming directly from the liberal party executive? Is Jason being paid to post this drivel for the liberals? Until Jason discloses all of his phone records, tax returns, and bank statements for the past 15 years, we simply cannot know for sure. At least he should be given the opportunity to deny such a possibility before it becomes a widely-spread rumour.

When did you stop beating your wife?
Don't have one? How about a girlfriend? Hmmm, probably not, never mind.
Dog, what about kicking your dog?
Posted by: jcl at December 14, 2007 4:02 PMLiberals are so funny when they talk about climate change. It's like a guy driving an Escalade with an Earth First! bumpersticker. Hypocrites.
Posted by: RM at December 14, 2007 4:17 PMIs Jason gunning for a job at the CBC?
Posted by: L'il Walter at December 14, 2007 5:52 PMHas anyone ever seen Stephen Taylor and Jason Cherniak in the same place at the same time?
Just askin'
Posted by: Kathy Shaidle at December 14, 2007 6:20 PM" Jason Cherniak still hasn't disclosed who paid off his expenses for the Liberal leadership convention in 2006. At the very least, he should be given the opportunity to deny such a possibility before it becomes a widely-spread rumour.

that would be two stupid to comprehend
Posted by: GYM at December 14, 2007 7:43 PMI've posted this response to Cherniak's question as to why Mulroney wasn't sworn in yesterday:
"Maybe it's because the CBC didn't tell the Liberals to make sure Mulroney took the oath.
But that is just wild, unsubstantiated speculation. Not unlike your item #6." [the item re. Harper's leadership funding]
Posted by: Joan Tintor at December 14, 2007 7:50 PMKate - Stop giving the troll traffic...I think that's probably what he wants. He seems the narcissistic sort.
Posted by: Griff at December 14, 2007 8:03 PMWaw an appearance...I thought Jason was "institutionalized" by now ;-)
Posted by: WL Mackenzie Redux at December 14, 2007 8:20 PMWho the hell is Jason Churniak????? and why would anyone care what he says???????????
Posted by: mike in ontario at December 15, 2007 10:23 AMThe Liberals are still worrying about Harper's Leadership funding when it was all perfectly legal under guidelines at the time. Not a single problem, all above board.
It's all pure DESPERATION POLITICS, scraping the bottom of barrels, coming up with dregs with no meat. They're so hungry since being booted out of power after becoming so used to slurping on the gravy train. It's a tough weaning process for them, they're feeling really mean and cranky.
