Because I just can't help myself.

(Note: you'll need to save your sign and host it on your own blog or webspace if you want to display it. If you think you've been especially clever, send me the file by email, and I"ll consider setting up a page with a few of the best. )

RE-ELECT LORNE CALVERT TO SHARE IN WHAT LITTLE THERE IS.

Posted by: ol hoss at November 4, 2007 10:06 AM

Um, guys? It is a good idea, and one you have obviously dragged out of the federal election, which was a good idea too but....

3 days to go? Couldn't we have gotten to this sooner? Would have been more effective.

Posted by: Altruistic at November 4, 2007 10:33 AM

Kate - Careful what you ask for. How large is your e-mail storage box?

Posted by: a different Bob at November 4, 2007 10:52 AM

RE-ELECT Lorne Calvert because the people who refuse to work need taxpayers money.

Posted by: dj at November 4, 2007 10:54 AM

RE-ELECT Lorne Calvert because, (well what else will I do)

Posted by: dj at November 4, 2007 10:56 AM

Altruistic...from the sounds of it these will only be salt on the wounds for the Calvert campaign.

We could have done it in Ontario...but the lemmings wouldn't get it.
I'm imagining "Vote for Libs 'cuz Lies R Us"
and they'd be like 'right on!'!

Posted by: bluetech at November 4, 2007 10:58 AM

Kate - might be a good time to regularly remind lefties who by now will surely be experiencing deep feeling of hurt, anxiety, depression and, yes, even suicidal thoughts, that help is just a 911 call away.

Posted by: a different Bob at November 4, 2007 10:58 AM

RE-ELECT Lorne Calvert, because i don't want to move to Alberta.

Because we all want cheap viagra.

Posted by: saskadan at November 4, 2007 11:59 AM

bluetech,

Then let the salt flow! Big, nasty grains of Kosher salt. Stuff that takes time to dissolve in wounds. The fresh salt that can only come with prosperity, not that salt that has lost flavor from 16 years in the same jar.

Posted by: Altruistic at November 4, 2007 12:20 PM

Kate, are you "For-Lorne"?

Posted by: Shaken at November 4, 2007 12:30 PM

Had a vision from God last night, NDP 31, Saskparty 27. He also predicted the Riders-Toronto game correctly, but I didn't believe it, and bet on Sask.
:-(

HELP KEEP ALBERTA UNION FREE VOTE NDP!

Posted by: mooner at November 4, 2007 1:11 PM

According to the Leader Post the election is already over. Maybe people will vote in spite of the media. In the 40's and 50's the Catholic church told people to vote Liberal. My Dad was catholic and told me about but people voted NDP anyway.

Posted by: ok4ua at November 4, 2007 1:18 PM

dmorris - you said "dream" - you meant nightmare did't you?

Posted by: a different Bob at November 4, 2007 1:26 PM

Don't knock Lorne. He is Alberta's best friend.

Posted by: Mike Kyoto at November 4, 2007 1:34 PM

Vote for Lorne Calvert, Invest in Alberta's horizontal drilling companies.

Posted by: Cal at November 4, 2007 3:32 PM

3 days till the election and nary a word on CBCpravda unless you go to the saskatchewan part of the site. far more coverage of Danny Whiner Williams and mega coverage of Dalton and McGinty the lawyers running Ontario.

this isnt your Grandfathers Saskatchewan, oh right it is. just a few less people.

Posted by: cal2 at November 4, 2007 5:31 PM

You people in Saskabush realize that if you re-elect Lorne, the Newfies are going to be really PO'd. You will have stolen their title of laughing stock of Canada!

Posted by: Justthinkin at November 4, 2007 5:50 PM

Two things that have run under the radar in this campaign:

No Fault insurance, and

How badly we are being screwed over by SLGA for what they are charging us on product made in the good old USA. Over the last 3 or so years the Sask Liquor and Gaming has been buying USA product for cheaper and cheaper. Has that translated into cheaper prices for us? Hell NO!!! We should be paying some 30% less for USA product at the liquor store. I know that Brad said he would not privatize but if there is one promise he ever broke I could accept that one.

Posted by: a different Bob at November 4, 2007 8:15 PM

A vote for Lorne is a vote for less.
Less people
Less money
Less freedom

Posted by: Bob Wood at November 4, 2007 9:45 PM

The NDP have done a better job in Sask with less resources than the gov'ts of Alberta have done.

Posted by: ok4ua at November 5, 2007 10:10 AM

"Government affluence and public poverty"

A proud message from the ND Party of Sask.

Posted by: rockyt at November 5, 2007 11:41 AM

Re-elect Lorne, Do More with Less....

More Taxes, less Taxpayers
More Wait Times, less Doctors
More Government, less Governed...

Posted by: commsguy at November 5, 2007 12:03 PM

We enjoy a high standard living in the land of living skies. Most people forget that and believe the newsmedia. There is probably more crime per capita in Swift Current if they kept statistics.
The Sask Party and the News media?? Who's worse? It's a toss up.
