Posted by: Alan at September 19, 2007 12:19 PMThe Greek posted this, so that's where credit is due in this case.
Posted by: Kate at September 19, 2007 12:20 PMI guess I should read more closely ... so the correction is: "Good Greek ... you're killing me!"
Posted by: Paul at September 19, 2007 12:29 PMLorne as the 'disco boogie transgender feminist'?
The Sask Party as the 'sheepish wolf'?
Yep, those policy discussions sure are deep! One can see that political discourse has advanced tremendously.
Cheers

hope to have a Lorne Calvert version of this soon.
Oh Reverend! We never could have guessed!
Posted by: Liz J at September 19, 2007 12:55 PMlorne . lorne , this runs on potash.!!!!

Got it now. Turns out I had the wrong player version.

Posted by: Alan at September 19, 2007 1:29 PMNo pun intended, but was it perhaps powered by Sask. Power!!! Hey, that's watt runs everything!!
Posted by: Jim at September 19, 2007 1:58 PMIsn't that tune an arrangement of the Village People's YMCA? Maybe next time Calvert is at Taylor Field the fans can serenade him with the same song.

Posted by: L'il Walter at September 19, 2007 2:20 PMWell, that's certainly a superb political argument, well up to your usual standards. And you people objected to the "wolf in sheep's clothing" ....
Posted by: exile at September 19, 2007 2:31 PMexile...
No political argument here. It's just Lorne dancing with his own party's creation.
It's not meant to be thought provoking.
The neat thing is that Lambchop didn't exist until the NDP gave him to us.
This is just a little gift back to the NDP's brilliant strategists...
Laughter trumps fear every time, exile. You'll clue in at about 11:00 PM election night.
Posted by: A. Cooper at September 19, 2007 3:03 PMYou know its one thing when we political parties engage in this public dialog but it's entirely another when a private citizen does it. We urge everyone who thinks this ok just because political parties do it to refrain.
You can end up with a serious Criminal Record relating to Libel that will not go away.
Posted by: SDAP at September 19, 2007 3:52 PMSerious Criminal Record relating to Libel that will not go away...............what about this vivid indelible picture in my head of Calvert with "man boobs", something that may take a lot of drinking to make go away.
Posted by: Bunky at September 19, 2007 4:12 PMGreat entertainment - Cal 2 I checked out the utube you linked to - a forelorne version would be a national keeper.
Posted by: Jema54 at September 19, 2007 4:30 PMThis is laughable. I mean, I understand that the Sask Party doesn't have any record to run on, or any policy, or any credibility, but you're all really scraping the bottom of the barrel on this one.
By the way, if Brad Wall is Lampchop, that makes Stephen Harper Sherry Lewis. And we all know where Sherry has her hand stuck in order to make Lambchop's mouth move.
SDAP, you're not a political party, so STFU.
Posted by: Wolfman Brad at September 19, 2007 4:39 PMWell, Wolfman, although I disagree with the first part of your analysis, I do agree with your last pronouncement.
Amen to that, The Greek. :)
Posted by: Wolfman Brad at September 19, 2007 5:24 PMvery funny
Posted by: old whiteguy at September 19, 2007 6:01 PMPolyester certainly suits the NDP, and it's probably not surprising that much of Howard Hampton's platform is also reminiscent of disco and sweaty plastic on flesh. Maybe the Dippers could consider bringing back pet rocks as well, but I suppose that would be too obvious?
Posted by: GDW at September 19, 2007 8:03 PMha ha ha this great!!!!
stuck in 70's just like the NDP
HAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Posted by: huffb1 at September 19, 2007 9:04 PMyou right wingers have gone too far. this is outrageous. it is an insult. someone should complain to the sask. human rights committee. i just can't believe my eyes. call the SPCA. dressing lambchop up like Herb Tarlek of WKRP in Cincinnati is the straw that broke the camels back. and who was Lambchops dancing partner. someone should tell her she needs a shave
Posted by: dj at September 19, 2007 10:15 PMMethinks the 'Wolf in sheep's clothing' campaign has wildly missed the target. Instead of getting people quivering in fear over the thought of Brad Wall as premier, all it has done has been to make the NDP look like a bunch of village idiots. I got my 'Wolf in sheep's clothing' pamphlet in my mailbox recently, and I used it to clean up after my dog. After that I got on the Sask Party website, donated them $50, and asked for a lawn sign once the campaign starts. I don't think this was what Comrade Lorne had in mind when they started this nonsense.
Posted by: noddyrules at September 19, 2007 10:29 PMSo it's true, then; the Reverend Lorne quietly struggles with autogynephilia?
Posted by: felis corpulentis at September 19, 2007 11:09 PMVery funny, I like it.
Posted by: Jaybird at September 20, 2007 4:44 PMHi Kate: found your site via a 'google alert' there is a problem with macromedia's flash player 9 - that is preventing certain flash applications working such as jibjabs and myspace music player, I've started a thread in adobe's customer forums as people think I am sending them to broken links to jibjabs when it is the flash player that is at fault!
