Dhimmi Watch - Norway

Minister Bjarne Håkon Hanssen from the Labour Party has called for increased immigration from Pakistan because this would be good for the economy. The majority of Muslims voted for the Labour Party in the 2005 elections, which the left-wing coalition won by a very slim margin. Eighty-three percent of Muslims voted for Leftist parties, just as all over Western Europe. Kristin Halvorsen, the leader of the Socialist Left Party, began her election campaign in 2005 in the Pakistani countryside, praising all the "blood, sweat and tears Pakistanis in Norway have spent on building the country." She is now Norway's Minister of Finance.

From Michael Totten's latest...

The Iraqis of Anbar Province turned against Al Qaeda and sided with the Americans in large part because Al Qaeda proved to be far more vicious than advertised. But it’s also because sustained contact with the American military – even in an explosively violent combat zone –convinced these Iraqis that Americans are very different people from what they had been led to believe. They finally figured out that the Americans truly want to help and are not there to oppress them or steal from them. And the Americans slowly learned how Iraqi culture works and how to blend in rather than barge in.

“We hand out care packages from the U.S. to Iraqis now that the area has been cleared of terrorists,” one Marine told me. “When we tell them that some of these packages aren’t from the military or the government, that they were donated by average American citizens in places like Kansas, people choke up and sometimes even cry. They just can’t comprehend it. It is so different from the lies they were told about us and how we’re supposed to be evil.”

CBCpravda turns on Dion, getting ready for the Igster.

The CBC's chief political correspondent Keith Boag said that before the byelection results came in, he was told by Liberal insiders that a trouncing could lead to a crisis in the party's leadership. Monday night was being billed as a test for Dion on his home turf of Quebec, and the Liberals had tried to ensure an Outremont victory by sending Liberal stars Ken Dryden and Justin Trudeau to the campaign trail.

It was "everything but the kitchen sink," the CBC's Ottawa reporter Julie Van Dusen said of the Liberals' Outremont campaign on Tuesday. And yet, "if Stéphane Dion can't win one of the safest ridings in all of Quebec, the question is, what can he win?" said Van Dusen.

"Most people decided to support the NDP candidate. They thought maybe that it was a clear signal about their disagreement with the current government."

'Dozens died in Syrian-Iranian chemical weapons experiment'

Proof of cooperation between Iran and Syria in the proliferation and development of weapons of mass destruction was brought to light Monday in a Jane's Magazine report that dozens of Iranian engineers and 15 Syrian officers were killed in a July 23 accident in Syria.

According to the report, cited by Channel 10, the joint Syrian-Iranian team was attempting to mount a chemical warhead on a scud missile when the explosion occurred, spreading lethal chemical agents, including sarin nerve gas. ...-

WLMR:
It's about time someone took Caledonia seriously, someone is going to get killed, someone almost did, a man is still in hospital with serious injuries.

The Chiefs claim they do not condone this thuggery but when the thugs flee to the Reserve, they do not chase them out where the OPP can arrest them.

We are not a lawless Nation but the Indians are above our laws, so Anarchy does not apply.
Harper should send in the Army, this is a war on honest taxpaying citizens of this Country.
If the Police can't protect the citizens, the government must.

why why why, would csis wipe out these tapes?
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/air_india

if evidence involved in a terrorist attack of this scope doesnt come under 'national security interests', then what in gods name does? how bad does it have to be before csis coughs up what theyve got? why not set up an agency that WILL provide this kind of stuff when its available? instead of subjecting it to a bulk eraser.

welcome to canuckistan where anything goes in the interests of 'national interests'.

who *is* the nation other than the citizenry? is it not in the 'interests' of the 'citizenry' to get this taped evidence out?

just what is the csis mandate that this is wiped out, not even archived in a secret vault for 50 years. wipe it out. why even bother to record it and pay millions into csis budget if the civilian courts do not benefit?

rcmp out of the loop.
prosecutors out of the loop.
parliament out of the loop.
citizens interests out of the loop.
victims families out of the loop.

I said it way back when they had a neonazi on the payroll whose name escapes me: ban csis.

Too bad Jack can only talk about bringing down the gov't. He only won one seat last night not 120. Did anyone else think that during dion's rousing victory speech last night that Cotler standing behind him looked almost exactly like O.J.'s buddy when the not guilty verdict was read?

Posted by: wallyj at September 18, 2007 6:40 PM

It makes sense that Taliban Jack would say that after last night's victory although getting the cooperation of the Liberals and the Bloc will be next to impossible now.

Well bring it on Jack, you may gain a few seats and I hope you knock the Liberals out in the GTA, but Stephen Harper will end up with a majority and your position will be weaker than it is now!

Great news for Tories - latest poll puts them in statistical tie with Grits. Dion can continue to live in his world of denial, maybe even force an election.

The Tory stars are aligning; hope the LPC and their cohorts continue to underestimate him.

Good to be Tory; sucks to be Liberal.

The poll that has the Tories tied with the Liberals is by Decima, so nothing else needs to be said.

They are about as accurate as the weatherman and Liberal lovers to boot.

Posted by: clair voyant at September 19, 2007 12:18 PM

Decima is the favorite pollster of the CBC et al. Liberal to the core.
