The problem with the right is no organised counter protesting. If there was an organised effort against Muslim hate rallies and cartoon protests, the allah and gaia punks will get the message.

I took a cab with a muslim driver in Toronto and as we passed a Hezbollah rally he showed his enthusiastic support. I took him to task. Accusing him of supporting a filthy terrorist organisation and a pedophile non-prophet - even worse, all on my quarter. I took his cab number and name and threatened to call the cab company and CSIS. He had a massive meltdown and was still screaming well after I left the cab.

One thing is for certain, many of these people are not in control of their emotions and are an easy mark to manipulate.

They will never accept, however, that sometimes we have to fight for it. Revolutionary marxism always paints the West as decadent and lazy, living off the misery of the third world in this neocolonial, postmodern era. If the unfortunate happens and AQ manages to launch very deadly dirty nuke/nerve agent type attack, there will be a new resolve that will likely discredit radical socialism for a long time, though they will surely blame Bush for attacking Iraq and apparently the Crusades.

No matter, the left will be forced to invent a CIA conspiracy (maybe they made the whole thing up, but until there is proof, it's stuff of Michael Moore and the CBC, not serious thinkers), to deflect their seemingly common goals; but, moderates will see it for what it is. The final nail in the Liberal coffin will be any reference to this thing being fake (I don't see it, why would any Bushite want to give Noam Chomsky that much credit) without evidence ("that is not fair, I have inside information, Maude Barlow told me.")
