...now why didn't I think of that?
Posted by: tomax7 at September 10, 2007 12:54 AMDamn that's funny! Man, what a shallow world some people live in...
Posted by: Deity at September 10, 2007 1:27 AMThat's hilarious, especially the questions and answers near the bottom.
For those of us with 4x4 trucks, I was thinking of getting stick-on chrome plastic badges made up that say: "HYBRID". Any effete urban environmentalist's skull is sure to explode when seeing this on a truck equipped with 34s and a six-inch suspension-lift. Who's with me on this?

Thanks for the wholehearted laugh. It reminded me of a young fella from Cape Breton who was working for me this summer.
We had been working on a large condo reno for some months and were wraping up the project. One of the last pieces of equipment to leave the project was the porta-potty.
We were walking past the spot where the john used to be and the young fella turns to me with an incredulous look and queries, "What happened to the hole"?
I politely explained that here in Alberta we purchase all our privy holes from the Acme Corporation.
:)
Syncro
p.s. Iggy puff......are you paying attention?
Posted by: Syncrdox at September 10, 2007 2:50 AMI'm surprised he isn't flogging '32 Valve V8'
decals for all of the 4 banger rice burners out there. LOL.
Capitalism at its best!
Posted by: MikeM at September 10, 2007 7:05 AMAnother great looking sham product from Gor-Moe-co...the great folks who brought you the first carbon credit bank of Hong Kong.
Install one on your new Chery today ( before it breaks)
Posted by: WL Mackenzie Redux at September 10, 2007 9:01 AMyomama, I remember those as well - do you also recall those big magnifiers that one would put in front of their tiny b&w to make the image look larger?
Posted by: Skeptic at September 10, 2007 9:34 AMThat is about as dorky as the fake hood scoop
Posted by: Colin at September 10, 2007 10:28 AMBetter than the real thing. Seriously. No wind noise, no loss of headroom, no rain leaks, no sunburned bald spot, nothing to mechanically fail, no problem leaving it open in a rain storm, and much cheaper to boot. I've got mine on order!
Posted by: Woodporter at September 10, 2007 1:41 PM...what's wrong with a dorky fake hood scoop?
Had one on my yellow '78 vette, as in Chevette.
;-)
And an '86 Buick Lesabre grille and car horns.
Called it my Bic Banana.

Many are you right, and you don't even mention the most egregious problem, that they take 1.5 - 2.5" of precious headroom away. Hey, I'm 6'7", it's ALL about those precious last inches.
Can't tell you how many cars are automatically eliminated from my consideration because they not only HAVE a sunroof, but can't be gotten WITHOUT the damn things.
Grrr. Can you tell I've been shopping for cars recently.
Can it's not just small cars. I've sat in LARGE cars that suffer from this self inflicted design error.
Who likes sun roofs anyway?
Posted by: Fred at September 10, 2007 4:37 PM...why not take out the front seats and drive from the back Fred?
You know, like High Tower in Police Academy?
;-)

people ask him. especially the one about abs lights.
