It's a bit late for this, but if you're looking for a spot to exploit the pain of Bomber fans, you can use this thread. (As an aside - did anyone think to check inside the gopher suit after the game? From radio accounts, Gainer may have been abducted and replaced with an enemy infiltrator...)

Gah. However, it's good to know that when we give the Riders pretty much every chance to break the game wide open, they still can only eke out the win.
Give me a break -- I'm looking for positives, other than the torching that Kevin Glenn gave your secondary.

Posted by: Dan at September 3, 2007 2:00 AMHell of a game, right down to the last play.
While I was pulling for the Riders, that last play by Winnipeg was a thing of beauty and I would have applauded if they'd scored.
But they didn't so: NEENER NEENER NEENER! See you next weekend, LOSERS!

Posted by: spurwing plover at September 3, 2007 10:22 AMThat game pretty much defines why people watch CFL football. In the NFL, 10 minutes left and the game is over; the offense can run out the clock. In the CFL, 3 seconds left, and it is still anyones game. Long bombs, gadget plays, fakes, CFL is entertaining football, without the steroid charged pseudo-humans.
