That's an air source heat pump. In the summer, its in cooling function, which means its sucking in ambient air, extracting cold air and discharging hot air. Conveniently right next to the temperature recorder.
Incompetance, or intentional. Folks rely on GW theory to pay their mortgage. You decide for yourself.

Like, where did this mindset of altering concrete data come from if not politics? It sure as hell isn't a construct of science or scientific method.

Maybe all is not lost. Scientists may have unwittingly provided the air-conditioning industry with some top-notch field data.

What we see here is a snap-shot of a lie. It is a lie told to further a political purpose, that being eco-socialism.
No individual with any concept of personal honor or personal integrity would do this. It is contemptible. However such notions do not trouble the minds of socialists. For them the Collective is all. Lying, smearing opponents, vandalism, assault and murder are all perfectly acceptable methods for socialists.
