Headlining substanceless trends and cultural narcissism is so much more easy than putting your ass in the grass and reporting objectively on world current events first hand...for these we simply specualte according to out political agenda.

Also, They actually have sympathetic full time professionals write about this stuff (fashion), rather than half baked amateur "war correspondants".
