All these moonbat candidates are missing the point...when they say Quadra has gone "green:, they are refering to the pot growing in the local back yards.

Yeah, Christy Clark takes this one if she runs. I lived in the west end of Vancouver for many years, and my MP was, er, Hedy Fry. A Clark-Fry duo in the House of Commons would be a great advertisement for some of the less edifying aspects of the downtown Vancouver mentality, but if 14 years of Fry and even the prospect of a Svend Robinson intervention didn't jolt them out of their collective torpor I see no reason why a Christy Clark candidacy won't go down as smoothly as a Granville Island latte too.

What? A liberal nomination race? You must be kidding! Oh; I forgot, their all women; It's OK.

They voted for Stephen Owen, parachutist extraordinaire, so you can assume they'll vote for anybody coordinated enough to clutch a latte.

What all ladies running for the libs? No metrosexuals willing to take one for the Beaker?

From Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrosexual

“Metrosexuality is the trait of an urbane man who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a substantial amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. Though the term has undergone a transformation from its original meaning (a heterosexual man who appeared or acted as if he were homosexual), current trends have seen the metrosexual label placed upon masculinity's embracing of practices usually perceived to be feminine, rather than those specifically associated with the homosexual. Debate surrounds the term's use as a theoretical signifier of gender deconstruction and its associations with consumerism. Current gender scholars view metrosexuality as representative of the embracing of relational understanding in addition to its lifestyle and aesthetic implications.”

If you can read that stuff and not barf, you might be a metrosexual yourself. "Theoretical signifier of gender deconstruction"…"embracing of relational understanding"…Arggghhhhh, need to go to drycleaner now.

I am a metro-man and I'm ok
I swish all night and I slack all day
I wear a thong and when I pee, I sit upon the john
I drink latte at Starbucks and vote for Green Dion
