Sounds like someone needs to watch more Colbert Report to understand that it's just a personae he's portraying. The right-wing themed Colbert Report was designed to be a foil for the left-leaning Daily Show and started from a regular "bit" on the Daily Show of Colbert acting like an O'Reilly-esque host.

I find him funny but knowing that he is parodying a "correct" or "more correct" (than liberal) conservative perspective is annoying.

if you really want to see 'Right' ideas spoofing 'libs' then you should watch " The 1/2 Hour News Hour ", on the Fox Network on Sunday nights. first show of the pilot series was last Sunday, with Rush and Ann Coulter as guests ! it was a howl, and the ratings were great, by the sounds of it. i don't care for Colbert because he's a lib spoofing the right, whereas this new show is the Right spoofing the libs !
