Beirut Burning

SmokeOverBeirut.jpg

MIchael Totten was providing continuing coverage of rioting in Lebanon yesterday;

Lebanon's Prime Minister Fouad Seniora accuses Hezbollah of intimidation and terrorism. He may be over-reacting a bit with the t-word in this context, but it's telling because he used to call them a "resistance" movement instead of terrorists. Those days are gone.

What a waste of a once beautiful country!
These assholes have just got to be stopped.
By any means, whatsoever.

Will Canada once again be expected to bail out these yahoo's that chose to return and support Hezbollah , because we know there are some among the 15'000 that fled to canada and the 7'000 that have returned since July 2006 .

MoM violence . . keeps them busy & away from harming us.

This time Canada better have A/C and percale sheets in the cabins with ensuite bathrooms for the next evacuation or else the evacuees are gonna run straight to the CBC microphones!!!

Better serve them a savory shrimp bisque with a nice chardonnay as well.

OR ELSE!!!

Seniora also knows his days are numbered unless Lebanon can find a way to jettison Hezbollah. Good luck with that, I say.

Gosh I thought that picture was of Beijing at high noon with a thick blanketing coat of industrial smog boasting their new found affection for unrestrained, kleptomanic capitalism.

But it's just the carbon emitting engines of fanatic Isalm at work again.

How can one feel sorry for Lebanon. They could have taken back they're country when the terrorist launched the last war against Israel. Israel whipped their a** back for over twenty miles. They huffed and puffed but did nothing. Now the country is gone and rightly so. This is one time I will object to the U.S. getting involved any deeper. Let the entire country come under the rule of terrorists, then Israel or the U.S. will have reason to destroy the entire country in less than six months.

Did they purchase the appropriate Kyoto Karbon Kredits before burning those tires?

Hezbollah is commiting an environmental outrage!

It is not muslim on muslim violance. From what I understand from scttered reports, it is a coup attempt by Hezballah.

From Totten's blog

"UPDATE: Beirut is covered in smoke."

When is it not covered in smoke? Either the physical or political variety.

Don't expect the left/MSM to care.

They only care when it's Israel defending herself.

They look the other way when it's Muslims engaging in offensive violence.

Syria and Lebanon, a land route to a front with Israel. Only Iraq between Iran and the Syrian-Lebanese front on Israel.

An immediate pull out of Iraq makes more and more sense.

After Israel is Saudi Arabia, of course. For two reasons: the ability to strangle the US economy (Uncle Mo's wet dream); Mecca.

Congratulations to all Lebanese.

Wonder if Codere is clapping over this.
E-mail PMSH, do not evacuate lebanese canadians again. If they ask, cancel their citizenship and passports.

The left/MSM will care once they see this REAL and UNDOCTORED photo of what's going on over there.

On second thought, do evacuate those cdns of convienience. Use the subs the liberals bought from England.

Posted by: mary T. at January 24, 2007 1:52 AM

When did Fouad Seniora call the hizbollah "resistance"? Any evidence? Or is this one of those lies thats turned into a truth by virtue of constant repetition because it suits thhis particular blogger?

Message for all those advocating for the defeat of the US in Iraq. Especially the american msm and democrats. Lebanon is the perfect example of what can and will happen when you support the terrorists, even while lying that you support the troops.
Why is it a hate crime by a christain minister to tell the truth about islam, but not a hate crime to preach death to all infidels.
Why do muslims preach hate and destruction of our way of life, but at the first sign of truth coming out about them, run to our courts and police.
Has any non muslim ever read the koran, or any part of it. When it is shown on TV, or parts of it, it resembles the scribbles my kids used to give me as letters when they were 2 years old.

Fighting still going on, muslims fighting muslim. What an example of a peaceful religion. Wonder how many are thinking that maybe the army should have been more involved last summer, to get rid of the hezzies. Maybe Israel should have finished the job. No talk anywhere of evacuations of cdns of convienience. Wonder what those who returned are thinking now.
