Pillar Of The Murderous Jew-Hating Community

Where did this profile appear, you ask? A Iran Holocaust Denial Conference trading card? Jimmy Carter's reference notes?

CAIR's 2007 pick for Sexiest Man Alive?

Not quite.

As of this evening's Iranian election results, Mr. Ahmadinejad's factions certainly do seem to be taking a bit of a drubbing. The BBC is reporting that: "Friday's elections were for the powerful clerical body, the Assembly of Experts, along with local government. On a turnout of 60%, the big winners seem to be moderate conservatives, while reformists have made a comeback after three poor election showings. Moderate former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani sealed a landslide win for a seat on the Assembly of Experts. With most of the results for local elections announced throughout the country, the president's allies have failed to win control of any council."

Of course, I don't trust the BBC, but it sure will be interesting to see what Strategic Forecasting's analysis is over the next couple days.

TIME: America's equivalent to the CBC, and just what the world needed. Good thing Castro didn't die in time for the Man of the Year cut off date (well, okay, good thing his death wasn't formally announced in time for the Man of the Year award).

Assembly of Experts?
that's almost sounds like something from "1984",

"Champion of the dispossessed"??

Well after a cursory look at wikpedia's take on the "so called"... "Assembly of Experts" (wow, good one...!) I don't see any obvious females, not that I was expecting "Susan Ahmadinejad" for example. But does the NDP know these people don't quite get the equality thing yet? Does Smilin' Jack Layton have time for a fact finding mission before the next election?

Let's get it over with, and nuke Iran.

Taliban Jack can have the honour of delivering the device personally.
He'll be in the news again! Should make him happy!

dig dig dig, post post post !!!

I stopped getting Time magazine before they pulled that stunt many years ago, hacking off cdn subscribers when the cdn version of the magazine started due to new gubbamint print media regulations. you had to resubscribe to the cdn version at a higher price.

I was an avid reader of Time for many years, usually at my relatives home. For years they gave me a subscription at Christmas. Then the cdn version appeared, with new rules put in place by Sheila Copps. The US issue was much better than the cdn, but over the years it has also gone to mush. Tried Newsweek, but same thing. During elections campaigns I buy Mcleans, just to see what lies they publish about conservatives. Are there any cdn mags out there other than Western Standard worth reading. I notice even Readers Digest is getting thinner and thinner and is filled with mostly food items. I will not renew my subscription next month, and the only reason I have continued to get it for the past few years is because I had grandchildren in grade 5, that raised money selling subscriptions. Grandma was always an easy target.
