I guess telling these whining idiots to get a life would be a waste of breath... subversive snowflakes that make you want to convert.

Posted by: Texas Canuck at December 13, 2006 3:25 PM

Anyone who gets offended by this sort of thing out to be horse-whipped on principle alone.

Posted by: Warwick at December 13, 2006 3:36 PM

Well..there's images of "The Prophet" in ice cream lids you know!
Blame the chicken shit clerks and bureaucrats who always cave in to the perpetually offended losers.

Posted by: OMMAG at December 13, 2006 3:42 PM

I just heard they've removed the Christmas trees at Toronto's Pearson Airport. Still haven't confirmed.

Posted by: irwin daisy at December 13, 2006 3:53 PM

There may not be any Christmas trees in Canada but we will have a new show on the CBC:

Little Mosque on the Prariej

I am not making this up:

This was from an ad on the Macleans website.

Posted by: Warwick at December 13, 2006 3:57 PM

Oh brother...

Gosh, Zionist snowflakes.

I'll bet Bush is behind all this!

Posted by: JJM at December 13, 2006 3:58 PM

I think its CBCpravda replacement show for
"Anne of Green Party"

or the Liberal show
"the Beachscammers"

Posted by: cal2 at December 13, 2006 4:01 PM

It's the Christmas trees in Seattle.

Posted by: Maple stump at December 13, 2006 4:02 PM

Actually, the Star of David is most appropriate for Christmas. Christ was born in the City of David (Bethlehem), and was a direct descendant of King David through Mary.

Merry Christmas!

Posted by: ml at December 13, 2006 4:04 PM

The international Zionist conspiracy to control the world's smoflake flag industry coninues...they never sleep...as long as theor are free snowflake flag makers, they intend to own them and make them slaves to zionist sybolism.

Posted by: WL Mackenzie Redux at December 13, 2006 4:04 PM

Daisy, I thought that Toronto had put the Christmas Tree issue to bed when that Jew, Mel Lastman, decreed in 2002 that it would be called ….. a Christmas Tree.

Posted by: glasnost at December 13, 2006 4:43 PM

It must be criminal to be against snowflakes with all that global warming stuff.

Yep, its a Zionist plot to ban winter.

LIEberal/Dem thong beachwear anybody?

Posted by: Hans Rupprecht at December 13, 2006 4:46 PM

Silly flag makers, don't they know stars have only five points, doodling notation, not an exact science.

Posted by: aj in calgary at December 13, 2006 5:08 PM

Snowflakes are water crystals, they always have six sides or points. It's physics not religion.

Posted by: RIMc at December 13, 2006 5:13 PM

And it's also obvious that the Toronto Maple Leafs are in on this too--blue and white flags in the Buffalo Sabres backyard, indeed!

Posted by: andycanuck at December 13, 2006 5:15 PM

I think it's obvious that Caverzasi did this deliberately. She does after all own a JEWelry store.

Warwick: Glenn Beck had Zarqa Nawaz on his show last night. I have a feeling it's going to be very CBC. She said they make fun of EVERYONE; Muslims, Christians, conservatives.

Posted by: greenmamba at December 13, 2006 5:23 PM

What? What?

Six-sided symmetry in snowflakes?

It's obviously a ZIONIST PLOT!!

Posted by: mojo at December 13, 2006 5:35 PM

Rimc gets it. That just tells us that those Zionist Jews invented snow crytals. They are getting ready to chuck them at the oppressed Palestinians in a non-global warming snow-ball fight.

Uhmm did I miss any bias. Oh yeah the MSM will report on the number of cluster snowballs thrown, whereas they won't talk about the fact that the other side put stones in their snowballs. Heh.

Posted by: Fergy at December 13, 2006 5:59 PM

what we need is 17 1/2 point snowflakes (emphasis on FLAKE) to be sure we havent 'offended' any group.

whats that you say? an obscure erretuinian faith has adopted the 17 1/2 point star and resent the intrusion ???

what to do what to do ......

well lets have a chorus of wimpy andy williams/ burl ives xmas tunes !!!

Posted by: bollocks at December 13, 2006 6:17 PM

This reminds me on the Cliff Clavin [Cheers] bit with the potatoes that resembled famous people.
I would encourage everyone to laugh out loud anytime they see this type of nonsense!

Posted by: ian at December 13, 2006 6:18 PM

What's with all the antisemitism? They're not allowed to put flags that are blue and white?

IDIOTS!!

Posted by: odie441 at December 13, 2006 7:18 PM

the town received about 20 calls and emails in total. that's likely the number of klan members in the area.

Posted by: jeff at December 13, 2006 7:47 PM

uh.. what was that, AJ?

Posted by: tower at December 13, 2006 7:50 PM

Are there not four points on a compass? Have I not seen compasses drawn on old maps
where the 4 points of the compass were drawn as a star?

Does this mean that the Jews have been planning this campaign of Zionism since the middle ages.

I tell you now that its perfectly clear to me as to why nobody knows where they are going in these times.
Its thoses starry assed jewish compasses.

Never mind the Middle Ages;I think we have recently entered the new millenium of the Muddled Ages.

Moses: Please lead us home[better leave the compass at home though, cause we don't want to offend the minorities]

Cheers Simon @ inques't

Posted by: Simon at December 13, 2006 7:53 PM

If you hang one of those outside your house or business, is it guaranteed to keep Libranos away?

Posted by: shaken at December 13, 2006 8:01 PM

Let's all be offended.

*sigh*

Has everyone lost their marbles? Sheesh!

Posted by: benning at December 13, 2006 8:07 PM

Let's not forget, this is Upstate New York we are talking about here. I used to live not far from Chappaqua, buddy of mine lived right down the road from where Clinton bought that house.

My impression of the place is that you could hang up a picture of a shoe horn and get at least 20 complaints. There are people who LIVE to be offended.

I should know, I certainly offended enough of them myself. ~:D Amazing what one can do with an NRA bumper sticker in a college environment.

Posted by: The Phantom at December 13, 2006 8:31 PM

Oh look, Jeff the troll made a comment. Wrongo Jeff! The place is as liberal Lefty as one could possibly find short of San Francisco. These are YOUR homeboys whinging about the doity Joos!

Posted by: The Phantom at December 13, 2006 8:40 PM

Now Aunt Bea would immediately recognize that star as the badge on her nephew's shirt. Maybe it's a call for help for the Mayberry Sheriff's Dept.?

Posted by: Pat Patterson at December 13, 2006 8:41 PM

Does anyone know where I can order more of these flags?

Posted by: Yiddish Male at December 13, 2006 8:50 PM

phantom, i realize it's a liberal stronghold. hence the tiny handful of silly complaints. it is reported to be about 20. hardly constitutes a public uproar. i reckon even the best democrat towns have about 20 or so rednecks who want to chase the jooos and the coloured folk out of town. that's conservative territory buddy...and you know it.

Posted by: jeff at December 13, 2006 10:42 PM

first the hanging droopy banners, now this!!!

http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2006/12/13/circumcision-hiv.html

conspiracy that cuts deep.

Posted by: cal2 at December 13, 2006 11:11 PM

Don't they get it? It's becuase of religion that we have Christmas.

Posted by: Sarnia at December 13, 2006 11:36 PM

There's been a change in the last 40 years, Jeff, Mississippi isn't burning anymore. The David Dukes are all over in the lefty camp now. It's hard for useful idiots like you to recognize them, they're so cool and trendy and stylish.

Posted by: anon at December 13, 2006 11:54 PM

...i wonder what is under this rock...

Posted by: tomax7 at December 14, 2006 12:18 AM

This is so ridiculous that it isn't worth getting upset about. Whether it's 20 or 20,000 complaints.

However, those uttering their displeasure should be subject to the death penalty on the grounds of outragious stupidity.

Posted by: Brian M. at December 14, 2006 12:55 AM

can I get fries with that?

Posted by: kelly at December 14, 2006 1:18 AM

The Schmutzige Juden are at it again. Now they are trying to steal our Christmas symbols... Uh, sorry, winter celebration symbols. Next the will be claiming that Jesus was a Jew... Uh, wait, never mind.

Posted by: Largs at December 14, 2006 4:14 AM

Are lobotomies reversible? If so, could we all chip in and get one for Jeff?

Posted by: always right at December 14, 2006 10:04 AM

Yup, I bet the shadow people Art Bell talks about are Jews as well.

Man oh Man the world is full of termites breed with chickens, these days.

The termites undermine the foundations of freedom, justice, law, & Religion. While the chicken littles cry the sky's falling with a new doomsday scenario a month.

Posted by: Revnant Dream at December 14, 2006 10:40 AM

There's a lesson to be learned here.
No matter how hard you try not to offend anyone - forget it, it's impossible! Someone will always find a reason to be offended, no matter how lunatic it is.

Posted by: Barbara at December 14, 2006 10:51 AM

Ah, Jeff,

It's the left who are anti-semites in the highest numbers.
