But conservative women are meek, brainwashed, Stepford Wives obsessed with knitting, recipes and pumping out babies! This woman must be a plant! I suspect the fiendish hand of Karl Rove again.

JERODCAN: (from the comments)
"716 comments and only 49,987 views... I guess YOUTUBE has odd way of counting. Because with the many comments the views must be at least 4 or 500,000. Just check out the comments on other vids with about the many views and you rarely see 716. I think they stopped counting the view on this vid."

When I looked at the video it was 49,987 views and 745 comments. Any truth to Youtube misrepresenting the stats or is there just a delay?

You Tube has become the gathering point for the loony left. I am throughly disgusted by the comments being left behind by the children of the left......as in completely childish and offering no rational point. Especially thecomments left behind by "JollyBrownGiant", whos according to his bio is handsome so he is entitled to be obscene and verbose.

Did CNN make a deal with the terrorists in exchange for the US Marine snuff video, like the one they made with Saddam to cooperate?

That's a sweet smackdown, note Wolfy didn't answer her "Where did CNN get the video " question.

Posted by: richfisher at October 28, 2006 12:45 PM

I am going to go WAY out on a limb here and predict the Dems will lose both the House and the Senate AGAIN and that the liberal media knows it.

I think the head of ABC (or CBS?) just went on air and admitted liberal bias and bingo, shortly thereafter Bill O'Reilly is a guest on Oprah Winfrey.

And I read that Katie Courics' ratings are sinking like the Titanic.

Maybe the media libs are tacking to the right because the elections are going to the right despite all the money spent and hard effort to make the vote go left.

I think maybe the liberal media is getting hit right in the wallet and also they know their bias will be exposed AGAIN when the real polls are counted.

This is all just my opinion but I am thinking many of the races could be much closer than predicted (or hoped for)by the Dems and the left wingers. If they perform as usual, the moonbat wing of the Democratic Party will be selectively claiming stolen elections even BEFORE there is a vote.

I watched this so called interview. It was supposed to be about her book. Lately Wolf has been badgering anyone he interviews with different opinions than him. CNN is losing viewers big time, especially since the "sniper bit" and it has become common knowledge that CNN e-mailed terrorists for video of them in action, saying they would be treated fairly. I think all the media is afraid they may have overplayed a huge dem victory on Nov 7. Lynn held her own very well.

Posted by: maryT at October 28, 2006 12:47 PM

OK, OK, can anybody tell me WHAT exactly a "CNN" is? Do they make laundry detergent, like "P&G"? Recycle garbage like "WFI"?

Wolf WHATzer?!?! Whatzat? Is that somebody's nickname... like Typhoid Mary?

Posted by: Joe B. at October 28, 2006 1:13 PM

CNN Headline News, "Glenn Beck", weeknights. It's about the ONLY thing I'll watch on CNN. He's most assuredly worth a look, in my opinion.

Posted by: Joe B. at October 28, 2006 1:19 PM

It was the head of ABC that stated that the media is biased for the liberal/kook Democrats.
He is also the one that would not back down on that movie that clinton dropped the ball big time.
CNN is the american equivalent of the CBC
Wolf Blitzer is the equivalent of Peter Mandbridge
Since yesterday, CNN has sort of softened their Dems will win big propaganda.
Also a lot of talk that the GOP base will not stay home, because the thought of 2 yrs of Pelosi
as speaker scares the hell out of both parties.
Let us hope that when they find the arsonist re the wildfire in CA is not a muslim.

Lynne Cheney's post-debate drubbing of John Edwards in 2004 was a beauty. Edward's "cheap and tawdry" invocation of the Cheneys' daughter's homosexuality to support his argument about gay rights was lower than whale sh*t, particularly as it was well known that Dick Cheney had (and still has, as far as I know) a different view than GWB on CERTAIN gay rights issues, for example, gay marriage. In essence, Lynne Cheney told Edward's to piss up a rope; she did it ONCE publicly, and I'm quite certain her presence on this issue cost the Dems votes.

Posted by: Joe B. at October 28, 2006 1:33 PM

maryT (1:30 PM)...
I think you've got it...Pelosi as Speaker equals gridlock at best ie stone-walling on Iraq funding, attempts at legal action against the Bush administration (from what I hear) at worst.

Wolf Blitzer, Peter Mansbridge, Edward R. Murr...(oops), I mean Dan Rather, and Chris Matthews, would make a great golf foursome; NEVER EVER down the middle, ALWAYS to the left.

Does anyone realize that, when they quote these "sources", how terribly ignorant it makes them look?

Posted by: Joe B. at October 28, 2006 1:48 PM

I hope this is not too far off topic but how many of you remember the past cbc news anchors, like Lorne Green (before Bonanza fame) Matthew Halton, Earl ? when we got news and not opinions. Can anyone imagine if any of these would have broken secrets of WW11. We were a proud nation before trudea come on the scene and brainwashed the left.

Posted by: maryT at October 28, 2006 2:45 PM

Are you people actually serious about a left wing bias at... CNN?!?! We can't be watching the same channel.

Posted by: craig at October 28, 2006 3:47 PM

Craig - were you aware of the (Pew?) media report that demonstrated that you had to watch twice as much CNN to find a conservative "think tank" cited as a source, as you did Foxnews to hear a liberal one?

Posted by: Kate at October 28, 2006 3:53 PM

The link to YouTube Lynn Cheney video still works but if you use their search engine at Youtube asking for Lynn Cheney video even with the exact title it will return a " no match" found. Looks like the new owners(Google) are trying to play gatekeepers.

Posted by: HBC at October 28, 2006 4:01 PM

Someone actually believes that there -isn't- a leftwing bias at CNN.

Now that's funny. (and sad)

Wolf certainly started to squirm when -he- was put on the spot. Hey Wolf! She answered the question, ask something else.

Posted by: Robert in Calgary at October 28, 2006 4:15 PM

Who would name their child afer one of Santa's reindeer?

Wolf Blitzer? What a stupid name, no wonder he's a leftist moonbat. It's to get back at his hippie parents.

Posted by: Conservative rastafarian at October 28, 2006 4:32 PM

The complete transcript of this interview is at The Drudge Report. Never tried the video link, as I watched the whole thing live. Yes, Wolf did squirm. I notice lately that all talking heads are interupting the person being interviewed. Guess they don't want honest answers. When they have 2 opposing sides on, the left/democratic person always tried to out yell the other person and takes up all the time with their drivel.
Listen to them defend Webbs books with comments it is just sex and has no place in a campaign. What was it they said about Foley. And, he didn't have sex, and the pages were over legal age. They better get their talking points straight for Nov 7. Even Jack Caffertiy was talking a different tune today, mentioning Pelosi scared people.

Blitzer: a smart friend with a blind spot (liberalism) told me a while back that Blitzer worked for the Israeli government once (?) and that therefore CNN is pro-Israel! Gasp.

Shortly after that I saw Blitzer interview some diplomat from Yemem (Qatar?). Toward the end Blitzer asked him if Hezbollah was a terrorist group. After much blah blah blah, it turned out, that NO they weren't. The guest then explained that the Lebanese were still "very angry" about Israel's occupation of Lebanon which ended 6 years earlier. Completely unmentionted by Blitzer was the reason Israel occupied Lebanon in the first place. It ended with Blitzer going all moist and emotional and telling the cat "always a great pleasure to talk to you". This kind of thing happens to me every single time (maybe the 10-15 minutes a month) I tune into MSM. What a stinking rotten hypcrite he is with his transparent "serious journalism" justificaton for airing that enemy snuff film propaganda.

She nailed his sorry a** to the wall, good on Lynne Cheney.

Posted by: Me No Dhimmi at October 28, 2006 5:18 PM

I e-mailed Blitzer at CNN and told him how much I enjoyed watching Lynn hand him his whooped-ass on a plater. Did you all notice how he sucked up to her when they finally did get around to talking about her book. Bet its a while before old Wolfgang has the Cheneys over for cocktails.

Joe B ** Knows Glenn Beck, do YOU?

Glenn Beck is on the *Other* CNN on Shaw Cable. So few comments on one who offers a crystal clear picture. Alberta? Sask? Ontario? Maritimes? Ever see Glenn?

Just the opposite to the old guy who makes the anti-Bush jabs and reads leftest Emails during Lou Dobbs on regular Blitzer CNN>.

Jeff Beck is excellent on air, but the person running his website tries to get too much jammed in so may be confusing.

People like Blitzer and Peter "Bush's so called war on terror" Mansbridge are too thick to appreciate the damage they are doing.

Posted by: Terry Gain at October 29, 2006 1:15 AM

I knew others remembered past anchors, I could recall Knowltons face, not his name. Wonder if Peter M will have a school named after him like Matthew Halton has, in his home town of Pincher Creek AB. He would cringe at what passes for war reports today, or news.

Posted by: maryT at October 29, 2006 2:16 AM

Wolf Blitzer got his ass handed to him by a girl.

Heh.

I would hate to piss her off in a bad way. A Lady of high principle with a double dose of courage.

I loved how she took him to task, even when he was blatently beligerant with an attitude ta boot.

Posted by: Revnant Dream at October 29, 2006 2:52 PM

Good one Wimpy. You are so right. I should know better. It is never a good idea to put concrete way out on a limb. The election is starting to feel like deja vu all over again. But then I guess in many ways they all do.

The Dems positions look to be a bit stuck now. AARP has the Don't Vote campaign and the Dems plan for the war on terror is, We Choose to Lose. Here is to hoping that the majority of the voters will not agree.

On the flip side though, gridlock in the Congress can be a very good thing. Sometimes if there is gridlock The Congress has less potential to do serious damage./s

I think the education level of the people that vote is the right is sadly lacking. Nobody wants to lose anything, but the bottom line is that every single day we are losing in this war. At what point do we make the decision to stop sacrificing our brave young men and women to the whims of testosterone laden wishes of egocentric politicians?

Get them all out I say.
