As many of you have mentioned over the months, there is no Paypal "donate" button here at SDA. While I do find donations in the mail from time to time (thankyou again!), I don't go out of my way to solicit them. The hosting and bandwidth expenses here are largely offset by the advertising revenue.
Unlike others, however, I don't subscribe to BlogAds or other ad services, which slow page loading and skim a healthy percentage off the top. Our sponsors place their ads directly with me - 100% of the revenue goes to support the site. The bonus - I have control over what shows up on the sidebar.
So, if you want to help support SDA, consider returning the favour. Christmas isn't that far away - Jim Hume's book Gehenna Station and the "Support Our Troops apparel" would make great stocking stuffers for the proud Canadian or sci-fi fan in your family. Tell them Kate sent you.
And don't forget Mattress Mattress!
