I emailed you about this, Kate, and I think your readers might find this Cherniak thread amusing:

http://jasoncherniak.blogspot.com/2006/08/boris-wrzesnewskyj-has-resigned.html#comments

It's a riot.

You see, among other things, Cherniak is an anti-Semite now.

Why? Because Robert McLelland said so.

And check out Joe Green.

I also think there are a few comments about Big City Lib (strike that) BCL (strike that too!) Michael Murhpy on that thread.

(posted as second comment to avoid spam filter)

Since Jason Cherniak has been accused of being an anti-Semite, I was thinking all of us who feel otherwise might mosey on down to Robert McLelland's blog and give him our two cents worth.

(I can't post a URL to McLelland's blog because it triggers the spam filter. Maybe Kate will post one?)

Isnt this the guy that got nukes from no more libs?

And now, ladies and gentlemen, perhaps Mr. Peppard's most memorable invocation of the "I love it when a plan comes together" phrase:

Of course, I liked Banacek better, but the A Team was indeed quite fine, back in the days before TV became useless.

some people just simply dont photograph well......

Posted by: RobertJ at August 24, 2006 6:07 AM

Wow, the real bcl! He's really enjoying this, isn't he? Seldom would the phrase "get over yourself" apply more succinctly.
And don't tell me about the friggin' A Team. I needed help and couldn't find them.

Liberal mole from CBC News asked this be posted; it said go ahead, even if it's off topic; tell 'em Warren the GroundHog approved of it. Then you can pawsibly deny. Librano&&&&&&&&&&

Liberal website gaffe reveals donations, home numbers

The fundraising activities of the Liberal leadership candidates — as well as their home phone numbers and addresses — were released on Wednesday.

The party posted lists of donations received by each candidate on its website in the late afternoon, which were supposed to cover the period ending July 31. However, that portion of the site was soon made inaccessible after the privacy gaffe was discovered.

Even before the information was removed, some totals appeared incomplete. Several camps have complained that tens of thousands in donations have not yet been processed by the party, through which donations must be funnelled to provide tax receipts.

Many candidates released their own, more up-to-date tallies of their donations later Wednesday. According to their figures:

* Bob Rae had donations of $478,750 by the end of July and loans of $275,000.
* Michael Ignatieff had raised $373,922 to July 31, with loans of $125,000.
* Gerard Kennedy had raised $361,503 up to Aug. 12, with loans of $200,000.
* Joe Volpe had raised $340,000 up to July 31, with no loans.
* Scott Brison had raised $230,000 up to Aug. 22, with loans of $200,000.
* Stephane Dion had raised $155,000 up to Aug. 22, with loans of $530,000.
* Carolyn Bennett had raised $77,350 up to Aug. 22, with a loan of $35,000.

Before the finance portion of the Liberal website was shut down, it showed Ken Dryden had raised $49,194, Martha Hall Findlay had amassed $36,835 and Hedy Fry had brought in $15,061 by the end of July.

The campaign is the first to be run under new federal campaign finance rules, which limit individual donations to $5,400 and prohibit contributions from corporations and trade unions.

Many of the candidates have publicly commented on the difficulty of fundraising on the heels of a federal election, in addition to the campaign finance reforms . ...-

People are still paying attention to that intellectual wet firecracker?

God's bods, why?

Posted by: Garth Wood at August 24, 2006 8:48 AM

Come on Garth - you slow down for train wrecks the same as everyone else.

Posted by: Kate at August 24, 2006 9:20 AM

Now that he's been outed is it possible for him to be "re-inned"? blech.

Posted by: Fergy at August 24, 2006 9:47 AM

Well, well, well, looks like another url I'll have to file under the same heading with kos and babble rabble. It certainly follows the same rant with expletives if you cannot make a real rebuttle guidelines. BCL is probably tickled pink(o) that you have actually sent traffic in his direction.

I like to remind them from time to time, just how insignificant theirs is...

BCL - Personality Disorder Exposed!

Posted by: Chris from Victoria, BC at August 24, 2006 10:13 AM

Let us see how brave BCL is with his opinions now that he is unmasked. I'm betting that now that his real ID is out, we'll see a marked decrease in extemity of posts.

Not suprising, that is just like a coward.

Posted by: aslandic at August 24, 2006 10:30 AM

The Liberals should hire this guy. He'd fit right in with McKinnon and Reid. Constipated on one end, the crap comes out the other.

The post modern liberal. What a hideous creature.

Posted by: Irwin Daisy at August 24, 2006 10:31 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA What a freaking loser.

Posted by: John at August 24, 2006 11:09 AM

SOOOO WHAT?

Posted by: OMMAG at August 24, 2006 12:21 PM

Good to see the politics of personal destruction are alive and well. (Having said that, I'm no fan of BCL.)

Yeah, it certainly was a Kinsella pwning resulting in the personal disintegration of a blogging existence. It couldn't have happened to a better "liberal".

As Count Rugen said in Princess Bride - "I think that's about the worst thing I've ever heard. How marvelous."

Posted by: aslandic at August 24, 2006 12:57 PM

BCL, like so many others on the Canadian leftosphere, has been spouting their crap and libeling others, while hiding behind anonymity. I have no problem with anonymity per se - but I do have a problem with those who use it as a sheild.

That's pure cowardice, and every one of them deserves to be exposed. Personally, I hope Canadian Cynic comes up next on the list.

Posted by: Kate at August 24, 2006 1:16 PM

Libeling others? Does anybody actually take what that jerk says seriously? He probably just welcomes all of this attention. So I'm not sure, other than a kind of personal satisfaction, what all of this attention accomplishes. Mr. Murphy is best left to stew on his own. He's about as relevant as the planet Pluto.

Posted by: Jonesy at August 24, 2006 1:30 PM

hehe.

I gotta say IMO Michael Murphy was a real jerk when he was here on sda.

It sounds like he just got worse after he got the boot from here.

I guess he made a pest of himself all over the Canadian Internet since you banned him Kate but I usually read sda and a few others and he was way off my radar screen.

I hope he stays that way too except I must admit I laughed out loud reading his reply to Kinsella, especially when BCL threatens to take over Kinsellas column at the NP. lololol

Kate, any time you want to remind me how insignificant my blog is by linking to it and sending thousands of hits my way, feel free.

For instance, you could send people my way to read about how Pluto is no longer considered a planet... and that perhaps Jupiter and the Earth might not qualify under the new definition accepted by the International Astronomical Union, either.
