Engaging The Base

Imagine for a moment, that George W. Bush had lost the election in 2004.

What are the chances, do you think, that he'd show up at, say - Free Republic*?

Yeah. I thought so.

From the comments, this striking bit of political insight;

"I'm impressed.  But it also shows that Kerry's pretty serious about '08, and more than ready to engage the base."

May he win the nomination again.

Interesting how the left in both Canada and the US are disintegrating at the same time.

Also interesting that the choice between good and evil has never been clearer.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision.

Good. I hope that bastard does run. That way he'll NEVER be able to RUN from this:

Inferring American troops are terrorists! Imagine if he had won in 2004! The horror!

I hate to nitpick Kate, but I think you left an open Italics tag after the quote in this post.

Other than that, keep up the awesome work!

Looks as though Condaleeca Rice has an exact measurement of the hidden artillary piece.

One could only be that exact from first person observation. Accuracy is important, after all.

Paully seems to be somewhat more grand in his estimate. TG

That was meant for above. I find anything Kerry writes to be of little worth.

He makes some lame suggestions about Iran*s atom rattling.. not woth going into. TG

As an US Republican, I certainly hope he runs again. Not likely since the left pretty much is agin' him. Where I live our Democratic Party County Central Committee is melting down over a left looney split trying to chuck out the moderates, who they call closet Rupublicans. It just gets better all the time.

Oblig. Candian Content: Many of my relatives in NS; mostly Cape Breton and Halifax are going to do the right thing today.

FReak Republic is a cesspool of hardwired shut-ins and malcontents, forever pining for a utopia that no one else wants, save them and the Kos kids.In many ways, America's Premier Conservative website(Ha!) is more like a rabid hockey board, where fans attempt to trade all their players in a 24 hr cycle, and the state of one's mental health is determined by last night's boxscore......zzzzzzzz.

BTW, Bush is a worthless RINO, and only libertarian nutter,Ron Paul, is a true conservative, according to FR's braintrust(sic).....LOL

On another note, FR hates Canada. We're all socialists, except for our snipers in Afghanistan.

What the heck is it with the Democrats? Kennedy preaches morals in Judiciary hearings while writing about his dog Splash. Neither Gore nor Kerry can't figure out how they could have lost to such a dimwit (their assessment, not mine!) and so continue to make the same tired old false statements in louder voices because no one listened to them the first time round. (My kids used to do that--when they were two.) Past Presidents Clinton and Carter attack the current administration failing to see how that just might look to foreign nations--and despite their own failures/practices while in office. Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi get shriller and shriller as the face of Democratic females and succeed in repelling both sexes from their party.
Sheesh!

Being the pathological liar that he is, Martin and the Liberal war room try to spin out of teh damage by launching an "Its the width" campaign to strike back at their perceived enemies
