Excellent! Sending good wishes his way.
Posted by: Doug at January 18, 2006 8:00 PMI know this is out of context, but where does one drop a comment about the latest goof up by Canada Customs?
Apparently a KNOWN gang member who smuggles guns into Canada from Montana was caught and now released in Calgary because Canada Customs didn't find any warrent to keep him arrested.
Chalk one up for the bad guys and lawyers.
cheers
tom
It wasn't Customs it was the Immigration Board that wasn't satisfied the charges? wtf? he was released in Calgary,
here in Canada where I live
on the streets with guns
Even though he is WANTED in Montana for SMUGGLING weapons to Canada. 'scuse me now I need to puke
Outstanding! Four thoughtful and relevant questions and four equally thoughtful answers. This is one talented guy.
Posted by: Hungry Valley at January 18, 2006 9:50 PMThe gun runner item will probably be on tomorrow's agenda. Or at least in a quick link post.
Posted by: Kate at January 18, 2006 9:53 PMYoung, idealistic and committed. Weren't people like this Liberals a few years ago? Regardless of the outcome of this election, good things are going to happen in this country.
Posted by: rebarbarian at January 18, 2006 10:05 PMthanks Kate it's really sick I live in Calgary. This beaurocrat has alot of splainin' to do.
Posted by: kelly at January 18, 2006 10:07 PMI worked with Brad a few years ago and he is one solid guy. He would be an asset to Wascana and the Conservatives if elected.
I really hope he can do the unthinkable and unseat Ralph.
Posted by: ridersrgr8 at January 18, 2006 10:15 PMA very uplifting interview, thanks, there is lots of hope for the CPC.

Belgian Family Given 60 Days to Prove Pardon
Josh Pringle

The Canadian Consulate in Detroit has given a Belgian family 60 days to prove a pardon of an arrest.
Michel Van Hauve, his wife and son are in hiding to avoid a deportation from Canada.
Michel was convicted of shoplifting in Belgium 26 years ago and is waiting for his criminal record to arrive.
The Navan family's visa expired as they waited for their permanent residency application to be processed. cfra.com >>>
This farm family has been placed under protective custody by this group:

Posted by: maz2 at January 18, 2006 10:48 PMI'm truly excited at Brad's chances in Wascana. I believe in him so much I sent money from 40 miles away to help rid Saskatchewan of the last vestige of the Liberal scourge. Thanks for interviewing him, Kate. Voters of Wascana...arise!
Posted by: Moose Javian at January 18, 2006 11:49 PM"They particularly scoff at the idea of Fisheries and Oceans having jurisdiction over some drainage ditch just because a canoe could navigate it for two days each spring."
I certainly found that interesting as we have the same problem with Fisheries and Oceans here in rural south western Ontario.
Their rules cost rural residents plenty when it comes to installing municipal tile , bridges , and
cleaning out drainage ditches.
Fisheries and Oceans have to much power and not even common sence when it comes to dealing with farmers that don't need more stupid rules , just a decent break and if the conservatives get the Fisheries and Oceans off of farmers and engineers backs , I'm sure that will be appreciated by farmers and the construction workers that are sick of their BS.
Anyways thanks for the interesting read Kate.
Posted by: Scott at January 19, 2006 5:13 AMGreat blog Kate! I've been reading your blog on and off over the last year or so and I find I just keep coming back for more.
This post on 'gratitude' says it all for me - in spite of glaring flashes of the obvious, Martin and the MSM entities that remain Liberal-enablers, refuse to talk up our necessary reliance on our valued American friends. Out Martin OUT! Be gone. Lets have someone in 24 Sussex who is actually interested in a courteous and mutually respectful relationship with our North American neighbour - as we smack them gently, but relentlessly on the head and shoulders with the trade files on softwood and beef...
BTW - what is 'SWTE' ? I've been scratching my head on this for a while now and Google is not especially enlightening.
