The Fallen Journalists In Iraq

Wretchard;

The Washington Post recently wrote a somewhat disparaging article of bloggers on the battlefield, mentioning Bill Roggio in particular. I hadn't realized that a blogger [Steven Vincent]-- and not a regular Western professional correspondent -- was the only foreign journalist to die in Iraq in 2005.

Might that be because many foreign journalists write their "reports" based on what they observe from their hotel window or the word of mouth from the local taxi driver?

The MSM journalists are jealous because the bloggers on the battlefield are far, far superior to them in their reporting. They're also independent and can tell the truth w/o the editor of some socialist crapper-reader censoring the good stuff and leaving in and amplifying the bad stuff.

A lot of the pampered, ivory-tower MSM types these days are trying to paint a negative picture of us bloggers.

Those jealous MSMers can sniff my butt like the mad dogs they choose to be.
