Terry O'Neill captured this CP photo this morning on the CTV website.

When I see photos like the one shown, I worry for the exempt media. As more and more people stop buying newspapers, the unemployment rate for journalists will continue to climb. Job opportunities will soon become limited, leaving only a few left-wing hooligans to rant about the smelly conditions in the gutter.

And televison news job opportunities worry me too. Pretty and buffed will soon replace coloured as the number one qualification for a job. I also worry for the gays. Soon, their quota will dry up, leaving metrosexuals in the drivers seat.

Thank Heaven for small mercies. At least they didn't Photoshop horns on him.

Left liberals copied from CNN.

They aped CNN. Reid/John Duffy copy from the "bastards" Americans, as ex-MP C. Parrish named the Americans. Liberals: the party of apers.

There is more/worse to come; what is the next rumour/salime from them? The salander/salime is spewed from the left liberals of AdScam Martin who will say/do anything to keep the "beer and popcorn" out of the reach of the Canadian "peasants". For the left liberals the end justifies the means: slime Harper and keep Power in their claws.

This character assassination is done for the audience: Canadians.>>>>>

Honestly, the Conservatives have to take all the slander and attempts to discredit them in stride; (if done poorly) when you try to counter something you can say something really stupid ("Popcorn and Beer"). The fact is that by ignoring it and keeping on track with their message the Conservatives will avoid most of the fall out of anything that is said about them; eventually the Liberals will become so desperate that they will cause their own problems.

Given enough rope, the Liberals will hang themself.

But they are so good at being biased that a majority of Canadians believe them now...

Posted by: Jose at December 13, 2005 11:26 AM

That's nothing go to this Pravda page and click on the Harperstein flash cartoon. It's really anti Harper and I am not surprised those ass holes at Pravda are campaining so fervently for their masters.

Kate could you please send Toronto Tory the link 'partying liberals' from your may 21 '05 blog - Belindarella, Up After Midnight. He/She has requested the info but ,as I am apparently evil, I can't post a comment. Thank you.

Tories must be doing really well if they're getting this desperate. Don't know what's happened to Don Newman. He's suddenly developed gonads. Cut off Susan Murray,Lib strategist this a.m. when she kept trying to link Harper to body bags from Iraq. Newman reminded her that Martin once thought it was a good idea to go too. Nobody mentions then Defence Minister David Pratt, or John Manley. Murray used to be a CBC reporter. Maybe, just maybe, Newman's tired of seeing the bias himself. Julie Van Dusen is now where she belongs, with Jack Layton. Nothing snide to report about him. At least, not yet. Methinks Libs are running scared.

Now somehow I could imagine that the "X" accross Dick Cheney's face on CNN was an honest mistake. But this, if it is indeed a still shot, is blatant and should force some apologies and resignations: photographer AND editor.

Posted by: Doug at December 13, 2005 11:58 AM

Last election there was a photographer named Jonathan Hayward that took similiar shots. There was a bit of a stink about it then too.
Same guy?

The Iron Lady sed

"Cut off Susan Murray,Lib strategist this a.m. when she kept trying to link Harper to body bags from Iraq...Murray used to be a CBC reporter. "

I remember Susan "no shoulders" Murray in her CBC days. She used to appear as part of a panel on TV Ontario's Studio 2, and she was angling for a job with the Lieberals back then.

Heads up for bloggers: Vote at CTV's poll, Where are you going first to follow the election campaign?

Posted by: freethinca at December 13, 2005 1:30 PM

Matt, then she became Ferret Brison's press secretary, now strategist. Maybe the Libs thought she'd be an asset given her Hun-like tendencies.

They make such a big deal of Stephen Harper's hair and his "shifty" eyes. Personal attacks. I have yet to see a clip of Paul Martin from the knees down showing how pigeon-toed he is.

There has been a lot of blog charter about MSM subliminal messages misleading Canadians to go to the dark side. But there was nothing subtle about the forty year march to our present Truedopian paradise.
For starters the flag disappeared and Paul Hellyer dressed our once proud military like a bunch of Texaco service station attendants.
This happened in full view of the Canadians, so I don't think a few flashes of crosses or Nazi salutes will be noticed by members of the apathetic flock.

Keep on message Stephen.

Tau Cross

Tau Cross was shaped in the form of a "T," and is an ancient symbol of eternal life. The Druids venerated and made a tree sacred by etching into its barn a tau cross. Among Christians it is hailed as the "Cross of St. Anthony" since the saint was allegedly martyred on such a cross. The tau cross is utilized in Freemasonry as one of its symbols. A.G.H. >>>

Unwillingness to hound a corrupt administration, guilty of malfeasance from office by the country's supposed free press is no more than silent acceptance of corruption.
Is it any wonder that corruption thrived the for the past twelve years of Liberal administration.
And still we continue to see that acceptance as this campaign proceeds, by the negative jibes about Harper and conservative positions as opposed to Martin's often leaked, trumpeted haloed gems.

Speaking of eyes -- Martin's eyes are old and watery, and then there's the six front teeth!! I'd rather look at Homer Simpson any day!!!

Posted by: Shirley at December 13, 2005 8:43 PM

It's come down to campaining on corporal features.
What does that have to do with governance?

We are in trouble.

Watching this country disintegrate, I must admit is somehow entertaining for me.

I know that's weird, but I feel warm an fuzzy when I think of how sorry everyone going to be when the big

Homer DOH! hits them in the not too distant future.

Duke's Place ... new posts good laughs and some real piss-offs for the politically correctites.

Pillow Talk from Carolyn Parrish:

Merry Ctuiwjbps, Paul,

P.S. Unhappy New Year, too.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

`I wouldn't want to be running now': Parrish

There's a little pillow in Carolyn Parrish's office, a gift from a loyal supporter after all the woes in Ottawa that finally got her booted from the Liberal caucus last year.

Embroidered in colourful threads, it reads: "Lord, keep your arm around my Shoulder, and your hand over my MOUTH!" >>>

Isn't the point of the photo, the subtle issue no one is talking about, that Harper has two teleprompters with him wherever he goes, including when he goes into retail stores and schools? The man is entirely scripted. A bit ridiculous. And who is doing the scripting? The MSM are giving Harper such a light ride this campaign that no one wants to actually put the issue into print or on TV.
