Whew! I though I would not get my fix today. Thank God for the small things in life....

Anyway, the typical thoughts (I use the word thought lightly) of the drug adled morons is at work again. I think that they have become so accustomed to using vulgar and foul language amonst their friends while "pulling bong hits" and buying their daily nickel bag that they have fallen out of touch with the rest of us and somehow think that is the way a civilized people discuss things and speak with each other.

The sheer narcissism and vileness of their blogs as well as their apparent need to constantly hide behind anonymous comments has become too much. Truth is a secondary concern to their feelings and the need to force them on the rest of us. (Whatever happened to reasoning and thinking logically about an issue using facts?)Then again, when someone is stoned more then 1/2 the time they are a dreadful bore to begin with. Add to that their odd Marxist ramblings, apparent lack of common sense, policitcal thought, philosophical or historical knowledge or even a sense of consistency in what they try to pass as an argument and you are left with mindless blobs of DNA.(More chlorine in the gene pool, PLEASE!) Unfortunately for all of us, as they pander to themselves and their constituency of people who never think, but must emote at every opportunity we are all left less intelligent.

A shame really. It would be so much nicer(and better for our "democratic" institutions...)if they could indulge us in a debate of ideas rather then name calling.

Hey Green Thumb, what scientific facts? I've seen lots of claims but no evidence on the benefits of cannabis use. Every single "scientific fact" that I've seen presented in favour has been easily refuted by scientific facts from the other side of the argument. The more that one-issue people like yourself get overworked about a pretty minor part of life, the more you make people like me question what your real motives are.
And one last thing, RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS WERE GREAT FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF NATIVES! Only a small minority of kids were harmed at residential schools. That doesn't mean that the perpetrators of the sex crimes should get off scott-free, in fact just the opposite. My heart goes out to those kids that were abused. Truly horrific. But residential schools "civilized the savages". I know that's going to be considered pretty inflammatory, but historically accurate.

I know its off topic but I think we should all take a moment to pray for/think about all of the poor people suffering in New Orleans right now, and anyone who is in a position to should donate some money to the American Red Cross. I was listening to storm coverage on George Noory the other night but just last night I first saw the television images of the destruction. Our American brother and sisters need our help. America may be the the worlds richest nation but that wealth is not evenly distributed. This is the exact kind of reason that we need to increase spending on the Canadian Military. Our troops should be on the ground/water in New Orleans right now helping the Americans in their time of need. Though I do not support sending our troops into unjust wars they could and should be used to help people in need whenever possible. It would highlight the compassion and care of Canada in the international arena.

Take the forbidden outlaw thrill out of pot and let more of it sit on store shelves.

Without getting into specifics, this poor individual sounds like a victim-mentality Aboriginal supremacist whose opinion wrt Aboriginal issues is beyond question or reproach or somehow canonized by some imaginary left-wing supreme overlord and anyone "nonAboriginal" caringly proposing reasonable, logical, helpful and fair alternatives is somehow a devil, complete with horns and pitchfork. MWW believes that being "Aboriginal", however remotely minuscule the actual biological genetic heritage (or perhaps there's none?) means she automatically knows what's good for all Aboriginals everywhere in all situations. Actuall, Tony, I have seen many times in the past that pot is actually way cheaper per "shot", more like, say, five-ten bucks, which is enough to bake a young brain. Also, it's not only smoked out in the open in broad daylight, but also sold very openly (numerous times I've seen young guys casually show off a big piece of hashish). That was years ago, and I no longer associate with people who associate with the drug underworld characters, who are actually quite ordinary, normal-looking people, many of whom have regular jobs.

Just a real-world observation. The whole thing is seen among many youth as normal and no big deal. They buzz up anywhere, anytime. True story.

I personally don't care for it to be like that. It really does make people stupid and more vulnerable to left-wing dogmatic propaganda. So, we could make a linkage between dope smoking and left-wing extremism, I suppose.

I should have made myself more clear. That's $90 to $125 a shot, meaning *all at once* not for a single joint, but a pack of 10 or 20 as cigaretts are sold.
