With Courtney Love In The Role Of Daisy

SCENE 1

Interior shot of a backwoods cabin in rural Georgia. The room is tastefully decorated with Bruno Mathsson lounge chairs, Eero Saarinen side tables, a rebel flag and moonshine still. An old bearded man lies on a vintage midcentury Alvar Aalto death bed.

sorry, I couldn't make it all the way through the link.

Did they ever make it to "The Jungle Cat is on the Prowl?"

that was truly the best line, ever, in that show (and possibly any TV shows to date, I'd have to think about that).

I am half-Danish, Kate, and I have to tell you that the link you provided is the single most egregious slander against Danes, and the Scandinavians, that I have ever read. I especially liked the dialogue when the men are lined up in the pole position at the race track, set to go, and they have a Scandinavian-accented exchange:

Luke: "I am sickened by my own incestuous desires".

Bo: "Though my soul is blank, it cries out for revenge."

Cooter: "I spurned my own family for the false dream of the Dukes' affection."

This stuff may be funny, Kate, but don't forget that your own Egyptian/ Finnish roots will not immune from a little Danish humour, young lady. And your Tamil great-great Grandma, who wears on you like an old wool sweater -- well, we pretend to not notice, but oh, oh, we do.

The Swiss would not be laughing, I can assure you that.

"I only couple with my cousins." Perfect!

I don't think Miss Love could pronounce the words IH insists on using in this dialogue. Some must be leftovers from the Lutefish Report.

Cheers
