Question: How long should a mother breastfeed? breast.jpg
A mother and her baby should breastfeed for as long as they wish to breastfeed. Canada Health currently recommends that "breastfeeding continue for at least 12 months, and thereafter for as long as mutually desired." * As solids are introduced, usually around the middle of the first year, your baby will shift his primary source of nutrition from your milk to other foods. The exception to this rule is the Liberal Party campaign manager, who should continue on mother's breast milk until old enough to be moved to the public tit.

Kate, where do you sign up for one of these jobs? Maybe I could be a mole. Anything for the cause.

Kate,
Is there any way you can get Warren Kinsella to weight in on this story. After the Kinsella, O'Leary, Herle appearances in front of the Public Accounts Committee earlier this year, this story should give Warren fodder for a damm fine rant!

Hmm... information on something related to boobs... Herle, plus mention of Kinsella, O'Leary... I see the connection. They're all boobs. Right?

As for Kinsella, bring him on in here. I'd love to get into a debate with the guy wherein he can't be saved by Don Newman claiming time is short or all gone...

Kicking ass, indeed. I'm not afraid of little old Warren!

I had a bad dream, a terrible dream last night that our nation was ruled by a giant corporation who's advertising budget -- lapel pins, focus groups, a 24/7 coast-to-coast advertising network -- was paid for by taxpayers.

And just when I thought I was awake, and that I was sitting in front of my computer, I saw a Jupiter-sized alien baby from another galaxy, with logos for eyes, who had come to suck the very magma out of the earth...

Thanks a LOT, Kate.

By the time she has a baby of her own, I think she should be weaned off.

I personally think mothers shouldn’t breastfeed at all.
I believe only the children should breastfeed, and besides, granny’s breasts are probably all dried up...
