Librano Translations Online

Regular reader Rusty Smith emails;

"After watching Paul Martin making denials in the House over the last two days, and then reading the Grewal transcripts today, I have come to the conclusion, crude as it might be, that the only difference between Martin and Chretien is that Martin has the ability to LIE out of BOTH sides of his mouth."

I'm not sure that's entirely fair.

I think that what we lack is the ability to properly translate the Librano dialect heard in the House of Commons into English. To rectify this problem, I have taken the liberty of creating an online translator: Simply enter any quote of Prime Minister Paul Martin that appears to deny Liberal attempts at bribery, as suggested by the Grewal tapes (ie:"No offer was made") and click "TRANSLATE".

As it turns out, the Canadians who voted in the Liberals so many times over the years ARE stupid, and indeed, as with the new budget, the check IS in the mail.

It's funny because its true. ;)

I contend that most people who vote(d) Liberal are in fact *not* stupid... which is perhaps the most grievous aspect of all this: that it's still in the best interests of the majority to continue to vote for a corrupt government. The east puts up with the corruption (i.e. the government robbing them) because it's still in the east's best interests to rob the west, and the majority in the west will continue to put up with it because that same government will rob the hard working (i.e. the 'rich') for their benefit. Socialism at it's finest!

The ability of my fellow Canadians to continue to support proven criminals (like Coffin) and proven liars (on Grewal's tapes) is still disgusting, although not surprising.

Martin says one thing and then the opposite emerges. Martin offers everyone everything and as far as I can see, he's the only one not paying for his bribery of the electorate because his companies are safetly off-shore.

Martin ignores several displays of non-confidence from the House by clinging to power like a third-world dictator....

.... and Harper is the scary one.

Right.
