Carnival Of Newbies (Last Call)

Last call. I'm putting it together this afternoon - if you've started a blog in the past couple of months, shoot me a note, with a brief description. Oh, and Canada - US - wherever, doesn't matter.

Kate,

Since you're posting it anyway, you might as well throw us into the mix:

www.rightthinkingpeople.blogspot.com

As it says in our headline, "News and views, for (and by) those with intellectual - but lacking utterly in bureaucratic - ambition."

Cheers.

I started my blog about 6 weeks ago. It called CitzCom and I focus on commenting on the "right" side of political news and current events. I have thus far managed to post at least one new post each day. I would be glad to tell you more and I would be pleased if you would add me to your “Carnival of Newbies.”

This guy has been doing a lot of damage - two Sun articles and his own "Liberal" forum named after him:

Well, I've started/restarted my blog. Right of center political commentary, I guess you could call it.

If somebody was prepared to show this old fart how to do a blog, I would. (Then I could stop harassing this one). After I see the pix of 'Atillah the Honey' with her gun, of course. (Depends on what kind of gun it is).

You can count me in with the "newbies"! I started my blog on Friday, motivated by the current political goings on and a desire to stop metaphorically tearing my hair out when watching the news at the inanities of many politicians and their advisers. My "impolitical" blog will comment on U.S. & Canadian politics mostly. Hope some find it of interest! I have a post today on the new (likely) U.S. ambassador to Canada...Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks for doing this!

Hi Kate,
Started blogging last week after a year or so of reading. Thanks for doing this.

Started my blog upon my husbands return from an 18 month deployment......it is a journal blog. It does have some language that might offend some readers...WARNING....

I am very tech challenged, and a terrible speller....

Don't forget about us, and by the way we are breaking a big local (Winnipeg) story tomorrow that MSM is sure to react to. Thanks Kate.

I hadn't thought about what my blog was about until I saw your call for newbies. Maybe too early to tell, since I've only been doing it for a few months, but a quick scan of my last few posts seems to indicate it's about popular culture. Hmm.

Hi Kate, I have just started my blog after I was inspired from so many blogs I have read. My son-in -law who is a techie is helping me as I am a Gramma of twelve! I grew up a political junkie and I guess I have never learned to stay away from politics. Both my mother and my father ran for the NDP when it was still CCF. I am a staunch die hard Conservative tho. Still finding my way with my blog but would be happy for people to comment on my opening. Thanks for the opportunity!

I'm putting in a word for Brian W Pascal and his "Gold Commentary From the Little People". I think he started it yesterday.
http://www.goldblogger.net/

A gold bug with a sense of humour, which can be tough at times. Some sour pusses don't get him, but that's probably a good thing.
