Monopoly On Martin

This is one great idea:

Because we all know how much the Liberal party likes envelopes stuffed with money, so we might as well help them out and all send one. But don't forget to put a note in the envelope too, because you have to request something from them in return for your envelope stuffed with cash. From what we have been hearing, that's how things work inside of the Liberal machine.

Help spread the word!

update: sorry! link fixed

Do you have a current list of which departments are for sale? That is, which ones have not already been bought??

Do you have a list of which federal government departments are for sale? That is, which ones have not already been bought$$

I guess the protection from malicious posters thingy is causing the double posts...sorry

If I were Canadian, I think the only thing I'd want from them is "my money back". Sending them money to get your own money back doesn't make a lot of sense.

Unless ya think they could be bribed into pleading guilty?

This is a great physical prop that Conservative candidates can use at the door!

Posted by: Art Williams at April 16, 2005 4:45 PM

The Conservatives could deliver a Monopoly $1000 bill to selected constituencies (such as every home in Canada) asking that they be donated to the Libranos. Even if a stamped envelope were provided it wouldn't touch the cost of Scamgate.

Better to make up a "To" address and put the libs as the return address - then it'd get "returned" to the libs with postage due or a rubber stamping of "postage required" or something like that.

PS: Monopoly money up there has a thousand dollar bill? I haven't seen the game in a long time but by memory the highest was the gold colored $500.

Mail to a Member of Parliament from anywhere in Canada is "franked". No stamp required.

Get your money's worth!

Perhaps we should have a bunch of brown envelopes printed up with 'Please donate to your Liberal Party', with instructions to fill with cash and leave on table at Frank's. Put one in every mailbox in 905.

BrightLeaf's idea will generate a whirlwind of reaction.

Do it.

I wonder how the business is at Frank's these days - can't imagine too many politicians are going there any more.

How much does a Liberal M.P. cost?

Over at cnews.canoe.ca:

Greg Weston's column: Attention: explosive details coming from the Gomery Inquiry re Liberal Corruption Inc., & Mr. Dithers/Chretien, & your tax money.

Question: Where did the money/loot go?

The firm of Kroll, Lindquist & Avey are fine-tooth combing millions of items re this Scandal.

These financial forensic accountants unravelled the Enron massive fraud in the US.

Go Honest Stephen Harper.

According to the Weston column referred to above, the "perps" at the top of Adscam will walk due to a statue of limitations. No wonder they are so smug on the stand...

So you can defraud as much as you like from the Canadian public as long as you use the power of the bully pulpit to keep it under wraps for 18 months. After that, you're home free...

Posted by: oltx at April 17, 2005 12:11 PM

There shouldn;t be a statute of limitations of government corruption. Or at very least, the clock shouldn;t start ticking until the crook is out of office.

The clock should start ticking upon discovery of the crime.

At cnews.canoe.ca, Douglas Fisher, dean of the Ottawa Press Gallery in the House of Commons, one-time CCF/NDP Member of Parliament, Canadian veteran (WW2), is calling for an election: Now.
Agree with him? Send a message to Stephen Harper now.
This writer has done so.

Your future in Canada demands you do your duty.

Election now.
