Adscam Alert: More Coming

An anonymous source tells me there is more on its way to Captain's Quarters today.

I am again compelled to leave the computer and do some work so you kiddies are on your own for a few hours.

In keeping with the publication ban, I ask that any commentors limit their discussion of the actual content of any newly released information to Haiku and/or limerick form.

There will be prizes for the best entries.

Publication Ban Crumbling from Faltering Lips
From this morning's Globe and Mail: Details of the Brault testimony began cropping up on various websites yesterday after it was first posted Saturday night on a conservative American site. The blog is run by a 42-year-old call centre manager from Mi... [Read More]

The Gomery Inquiry from Gay Orbit
It's a little funny to me to see the Canadian Media "reporting" on the Gomery Inquiry without, you know, actually saying anything about the testimony that is being widely reported on American blogs like Captain's Quarters and Small Dead Animals. ... [Read More]

Red-faced and puffing,
Gomery is angry now
At the brave bloggers.

better believe I will be linking to it and telling everyone I know about it.

The government can go to hell if they think they can control us like this.

Have traffic loads torpedoed blogspot.com?

Once an investigation was startin'
Of the Liberals and PM Martin
Reporting on it was banned;
Captain Ed lent a hand
And thus did the bloggers outsmart 'em!

Liberals are red
Tories are blue
Link Captain Ed
And they'll arrest you

There once was a lad from Shawinigan
Who was out of the House, then got in again;
He got spooked by the Bloc
So he put us in hock,
And the Libs all had reason to grin again.

Then along came a fellow named Gomery -
Caught the Libs drinking cognac and Pommery;
So he thought for a bit,
Then he served them a writ,
And subpoenaed the whole damn' conglomery.

Now we're all waiting, breathless and wondering,
What we'll learn about John Crouton's blundering
Will we find out what Gags
Did with all those cash bags
That the Libs got, our taxes by plundering?

All our money is gone, that is certain;
So no matter who wins, we'll be hurtin';
But we're right to rejoice,
In a unified voice,
For the 'Gom' will be Paul Martin's curtain.

There once was a jerk named Trudeau
Who was bent by the socialist show
He created a nation
To enrich his friends station
Canadians be damned to escrow

A friend of mine was in the Navy and once he was invited into the CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS for dinner.

And there was that time when I saw that old song "muskrat love" by CAPTAIN and someone (forget), so I put in some QUARTERS just for nostalgia's sake

hmm, did I say something? Illegal words, which ones?

Loved the limricks. Guess the Irish and the poet in me is all washed out. Mine is a poor submission in comparison.

Canada's Socialist Eutopia
truthfully is a myopia.
Agreeing with all,
but believing in none.
Truth, just a crack addict trying to score a clean pipe in Canadia'

The judge declared, “Don’t publish Adscam,
Or I will be sadscam and madscam.
This ruling respect,
Lest jurors suspect
That Canada’s facing a badscam.”

At which every possible juror
Got up from his lunch in a furor
Logged onto the site
And read through the night,
A sure curiosity curer.

Ok guys you've had your fun, now let's get serious - the Lieberal party needs you - they have been victimized by criminals. Criminals in the Lieberal party! How in heck did that happen! My faith in all that is canadian is shaken to its foundation.

So here is what I am proposing, I am taking a collection, won't you please contribute, its for the future of canada and democracy as we know it should be administered, with healthy doses of publication bans and aborted (gasp I said it) public enquiries.

I think I should have about $10 million by Saturday and I am hoping to persuade Paul Martin to get the government to match these funds, I also want him to issue tax relief for 2005 and 2006 because this is such a special cause. Won't you help?

BTW should we not have a political criminal registry set up? "Paul appropriate another 2 billion will you, and deduct from the armed forces budget".

Just had an impulse to prove to the world I can't write Haiku:

Publication Ban
Rats in Canada scurry
Captain's Quarters talks

Millions spent on trial
Surprise, government corrupt
And nothing happens

Corrupt Libranos
Continue on as always
Win re-elections

Tax more and steal more
Why not, always worked before
Wake up Canada!

Canada implodes
The Nation of Alberta
Always on it's guard

Keeps out Quebecers
Rejected by Mexico
Oh, those damn Snowbacks!

Letting good times roll
They pump the oil and get rich
Then another state

Damn. I'm going to have to come up with a good prize. Be sure to read Sean's link, too.

Is the prize dinner and a movie for two? Because if it is, I am SO inviting Warren Kinsella out for an evening. Heck, I'll even shave my back for the occasion. ;-)
