"I Pray For Chaos"

The BBC asks readers; "What Are Your Hopes For Iraq parliament?"

A response that reveals what passes for thought in the anti-American, "morally superior" Canadian left.

I hate to say this to Iraqis, but I pray for chaos and civil war: it's the only way to stop Bush's policies and show that peace can never come through force. If Iraq gets peace, Bush wins credibility. It cannot be allowed to happen.

Nina, Toronto, Canada

It could have just as easily been written by any number of Liberal or NDP members of parliament.

Charming isn't she....punish a whole country full of innocent men, women, and children, CAUSE SHE DOESN'T LIKE BUSH!

I can't begin to tell you the kind of punishment that a person like her deserves. But my mind runneth over!

Talk about living in a moral vacuum! Unfortunately there are many on the left who believe that they are morally justified in promoting evil for the sake of keeping the right under their thumb.
How pathetic!

Ahh, the smug pontificating superiority of the left. She ought to think, just a bit.

For example, should Britain, the USA, Canada, Australia, etc.. have all sat back to watch while the Third Reich destroyed Europe and committed genocide? According to Nina of Toronto, the answer would have to be 'yes'. Same with Stalin and the Communist destruction of Eastern Europe.

And I suppose it didn't bother Nina of Toronto one bit that Saddam Hussein was busy murdering Kurds and Iraqis.

Incredible. It's amazing how the Left lives within an irrational Mythic Fog, focused on their hapless fight against The Great Satan (the USA/Bush) and ignores reality.

At the center of the left's belief system is a deep and unshakable racism. It has revealed itself in the Iraq war like it has in no other way. Cut through the BS, and their core message is that Iraqis are ungovernable and expendible - in other words - something less than human.

Not exactly news except for them being so honest about it. The left has been praying (okay, hoping anyway) for a defeat in Iraq since day one.

If peace does'nt happen OUR way we hope everyone dies so we can feel smug.
Now here's how we are going solve world hunger.
Marxism, blah blah blah redistribution of wealth , blah blah blah world taxes, and if that does'nt work we hope everyone starves to death.

But starving is peaceful and serene and you look "beautiful" while dying - so cancel those checks you made out to Sally Struthers.

Hmmm... have to go clean my gun now....it's a lot easier then commenting on what I think of the left, most of which wouldn't be acceptable here..

It's interesting that she starts with her conclusion ("show that peace can never come through force"), and then hopes for facts that will reinforce that conclusion.

I wonder if her head will actually implode when peace does in fact come through force?

Too much to ask for, I know...

Nina has inadvertently acknowledged that Bush's interests and the interests of Iraqis coincide and that the interests of the anti-Bush left are in opposition to the interests of Iraqis.

Watch for the Ninas to squeal in the coming months as it becomes more and more clear that the Iraqis and Bush have defeated the stalinists and the Islamofascists operating in Iraq.

This will drive the left crazy. While it took years after he left office for Reagan's accomplishments to sink in- at the pace of events in the middle east the transformational nature of Bush's presidency will be apparent before he leaves office.

I think they should build another Mount Rushmore on the 49th parallel, and start with Regan and Bush. This should be visible from parlament hill, and they both should be giving Ottawa the universal salute about what they really think.

Ah... I can see it now.... a monument to left wing stupidity for all time.

Yep, she's in for some serious psychological trauma when the democratic revloutions in the East get in full swing. I think of lot of moonbats are in for some reality therapy, and it's about time. Like it or not, we need a "loyal opposition", as the Founders intended, to act as a counterbalance, but we need them to be sane and well, loyal.

Yup....we be sane... we got's our lib-er-ator primed and ready, we shall free them from the chains of dependency... ;-)

Hey Rob, if they built this new Rushmore on the 49th parallel, to be visible from Parliament Hill, it would have to be mighty tall. Unless they took over some territory in Quebec and put it in the highlands east of Val D'Or, sort of halfway between Ottawa and James Bay. But somewhere around the 43rd might be feasible, saluting across the St. Lawrence River Valley from northern NY state.

I may not be quite sane, but when I give directions, I much prefer points of the compass to lefts and rights.

Ha...probably be easier to move Ottawa closer, that way if Martin can reach Bush by phone when a missle's coming over, he can holler out the window...
