Thanks for those pics. Shows nothing but tremendous progress. Buildings under construction, people smiling, walking home with over-stuffed bags of goodies, commerce exploding.
Unmitigated Success here. Iraq is next.

Temperatures in Kabul are currently hovering around 40 deg. f.

When the sun is out, it is great, but once it goes behind the clouds it gets bloody cold, -10ish at night. Togue and combat jacket cold. Just this month, we had rain/sleet for days. The snow on the mountains that normally burnt off in the daytime, remained.
I have been told that this ROTO, the people seem to be better outfitted. They are more use to the climate conditions, but the kids now have shoes on their feet and are wearing jackets.
