It doesn't seem that long ago that I was celebrating my 100,000 visit to small dead - October 2nd or thereabouts. At the rate of visits today (1700 so far), it looks like the 200K will click over on the sitemeter sometime this evening.
Thankyou, all.

Get more radio gigs, and you'll get more hits. You did a good job on your recent interview, and I bet that helped.
Posted by: carlton the dorman at January 4, 2005 5:53 PMCongratulations! I'm sure the Best Cdn. Blog award helped, too.
Posted by: Charles MacDonald at January 4, 2005 6:37 PMI think you should give out a prize.
Posted by: firewalls 'r us at January 4, 2005 6:43 PMYes, I probably should. In fact I'll double the cash award I gave to the 100,000 visitor!
Posted by: Kate at January 4, 2005 6:53 PM200k!

Note to Doug: A man who can cook is a woman magnet. Learn!
As for that double the cash... thanks for the grin.
Posted by: Kathy K at January 4, 2005 7:52 PMA Playboy spread? Congrats! Are they doing a special issue on maverick Prairie Girls? Try and work the bike into the shoot, or even a power painter and a hockey mask!
Posted by: carlton the doorman at January 4, 2005 8:05 PMIf Kate did not exist, it would be necessary to invent her.
Posted by: Eugene Sartre at January 4, 2005 8:11 PM200,167 at 9:40 EST. Quarter mil by months end; half mil before Canada Day. My own pitiful little blog (not linked; I'm not out to advertise) has a total of 238, with about 5-6 hits a day. Quality shows!
Posted by: Paul at January 4, 2005 9:46 PMNo Kate.
Thank you.
Oh.. and Kathy, I'm a cooker.. and not that baduva looker. Holla at a playa.
Posted by: Hans at January 4, 2005 11:29 PMCongrats, Kate. You set a real standard out there, and it's fitting that world-class blogging should garner world-class traffic.
Posted by: Damian at January 5, 2005 10:44 AMYo! Props. :-)
Posted by: Sean at January 5, 2005 11:07 AMOK. I think that's about enough sucking up for now.
Posted by: Kate at January 5, 2005 9:18 PMWhat? I just got my pucker perfected!
Posted by: Damian at January 6, 2005 10:37 AMI only visit your site for the same reason people stare at car accidents. When something is this odd, it is hard no to sneak a peek or two once in a while.
Although I don't agree with your politics or your crass writing style, you do have a well put together blog.
Even if Robert hates you so much.
Posted by: Jason at January 6, 2005 11:29 AMThere! Jason has the right idea!
Posted by: Kate at January 6, 2005 12:01 PMI read "pucker perfected" as "pecker puckered", the first time around, and thought you had the wrong post....

Posted by: Kate at January 6, 2005 12:03 PMEgad. Not for *pinky to corner of mouth* one million dollars would I perform such an unnatural act. Pretty difficult to be a swordsman without a pointy end, isn't it?
