Embrace Hollywood

"Democrats need to embrace Hollywood because this is where they need to come to learn how to tell a story." - Michael Moore*

"I don't have a stake in this adventure now - the cultural, historical adventure of America and the biological adventure of this species on the planet," he said. "I don't care what happens to this country. There's no changing the way this planet is headed. So I kind of watch it as entertainment."

"I say it this way, when you're born in this world, you're given a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America you're given a front row seat." - George Carlin

The Democrats need to get rid of Michael Moore, Jon Stewart, and that whole anti-WTO/war wing of the party. These guys have no real agenda except to mock whomever sits in the White House and express disdain for government of all kinds.

The Democrats need clear and consistent policies. They already have a grassroots army, some of the best street organizers in the game, but they need to convince people to vote for something, rather than just against it.

And what's wrong with mocking politicians? I figure that should be an Olympic sport.

Michael Moore & company probably did more to energize the conservative base than they did for the liberals. Let's keep them around for amusement!

And in a related story we see the reason Mr. Carlin comes out with such bizarre statements...
