Commenting problems

I know a lot of you have been having trouble commenting. It's unintentional, as a result of some heavy spam blocking I was forced into a couple of months ago.

I'm going to experiment here - I've unblocked the vast majority of the ip blocks I had banned (was using wildcards, so that is why so many got caught up in it). We'll see if I get a spamolanche again, and in the meantime, use the comments thread to this post to try any tests. It'll be easier to delete them in one fell swoop later.
