  1. There is an upside to neglecting the military. Given that the Spawn-Fuhrer and his pull-start unit orderly would more than likely not have a clue as to why, where, what, when, and how to engage in military adventurism, not unlike the Biden regime, it’s best that we just pretend that our military is something useful. In the case of Latvia, we are only there to needlessly threaten Russia as part of the US led obsession. We should exit NATO and the UN and build a military independent of others focusing on state of the art defense rather than adventurism.

  2. You are aware of the history of the Baltic states and Russia’s recent invasion of a neighbour and talk about recreating the Russian empire and Soviet Union of old aren’t you? If you want out of NATO because you think it’s none of our business that’s a valid debate, but defending the west from Russian invasion was the reason NATO was created, and putting troops in place to do the when there is a potential threat is the smart thing to do.

Of course if we exited NATO and put together the type of force we need to defend out territorial watered from Chinese and Russian interests without the backup of allies we’d bankrupt ourselves. It’s far cheaper to throw a token number of under paid under equipped troops at NATO than have to build a navy and army that can stop China and Russia from doing whatever they want in the arctic.

    1. Bugging the bear could lead to tickling the dragon’s tail. It’s my understanding and my memory that Gorbachev was given solemn promises that if the USSR withdrew its troops allowing German reunification and their entry into NATO (to keep the Germans in check) that the organization would not expand any further east. Somehow that got lost. Putin is doing what he threatened to do should that occur. Looks like he was suckered into it for the benefit of arms manufacturers. He doesn’t want NATO walling him in? Shocking! I’m sure the US would be thrilled with Mexico joining the Warsaw Pact. The Monroe Doctrine would never kick in.

      1. Russia’s neighbours have a long history of being invaded by Russia. I know some find it shocking that they might want it to stop.

        1. Russia also has a fairly long history of being invaded by its neighbors. What the hell are we doing there?

    2. I am old enought to remember all these places being part of the Soviet Union. Now they are part of NATO or angling to join in. But it’s Russia that has dreams of re-creating the Warsaw pact?

    3. Rusty
There a huge difference between today’s Russia, and the USSR, and NATO was formed to counter the USSR, more so than Russia.
And Russia is defending herself from WEF interference in her internal affairs , and NATO, /USA expansionism, now try keeping up with the truth of the matter!

  3. “…defending the west from Russian invasion was the reason NATO was created…” I think you meant to say Soviet (union) invasion, a collection of states that are no longer under the Communist boot. It was also created to prevent Germany from re-arming in a major way. NATO now exists, under the direction of the US to box Russia in. It has succeeded in driving Russia away from the west and into the arms of the CCP and now happily forming trade alliances with 2/3 of the planet while working on killing the US petrol dollar. If you want to talk of bankruptcy, you should look to the South. The US is now the most indebted nation on the planet by any measure.

  4. … asking for $1.5 million to help cover increased safety and security costs, stemming from concerns over a rise in anti-LGBTQ2S+ hate, violence, and threats.

“Every day, we witness attacks in person at events and online targeting community leaders, event organizers, elected representatives, venues, artists and performers, families and young people,” reads Fierté Canada Pride’s proposal.

See … this is how it works … “stemming from concerns” … over anti-Alphabet violence and threats. “Concerns” … begets massive Federal funding to … prevent anti gay violence. Hence … what was an undocumented “concern” becomes a FACT of anti-gay violence and HATE crimes. It’s utterly absurd. And the “attacks” these Aphabets are witnessing? They’re moms speaking at school board meetings insisting the schools stop secretly helping elementary school children “transition”. That’s what passes for “HATE” and “violence”. It’s utter nonsense.

How about THIS? I have a CONCERN that a violent smash and grab shoplifting will take place while I am in a retail store … so I demand the government spend $1.5 M protecting those businesses … to re-FUND the police. Oh wait. That’s not a “concern” … it’s a FACT. Unlike this Alphabet fraud.

PS … the only violence I see is coming FROM the Trans Queers.

    1. P.S… hopefully the only violence I see coming in the future will be AGAINST the Trans Queers, and brutally.

  5. Seriously? More moderation of my comments. This is starting to not be worth the hassle.

And most of you know … I never complain about our hostess or her helpers.

      1. I keep an eye out for comments in moderation Kenji, but sometimes it takes me awhile to see it, as I’m busy around the farm.

        1. Can’t you simply edit whilst cruising around pulling the seeder in your air conditioned tractor cab? Ya got the thing set on GPS … there’s nothing else for you to do there. Right? 😛

          1. Ha! I wish I had an air conditioned tractor. It’s been a real learning experience for me, when I retired from the army and took over the family farm.

  6. “Every day, we witness attacks in person at events and online targeting community leaders, event organizers, elected representatives, venues, artists and performers, families and young people,” reads Fierté Canada Pride’s proposal.

Every day eh? Haven’t seen any of it on the news. I’m betting if any alphabet people got hurt it would be in the news cycle 24/7. Just another way to funnel money to the Groomers.

    1. … or even an angry shout down … we’d see on a loop incessantly
Fact is NOBODY CARES. Now get on with your lives.

  7. Interesting that the price of security went up right after the “community” started feeling triggered about police in uniform. I’m will to bet that the community was far less triggered by the cops than the organizers were.

  8. JT has his priorities, helmets for soldiers won’t likely endanger any of his paramours, but put some 2SLLGBT++ folks in danger, and one of them is bound to have had JT in whatever orifice it likes.

  9. I am kind of good with this.
This is the same Dear Leader who wanted to use the military to crush the Truckers.
The same cabal who fantasized about about “bring in the tanks”,as a direct quote of Dear Leaders henchmen from our banks..
So the continued decline of the Canadian Armed Forces, under Dear Leaders regime, may be a blessing.

Every indication is that our dear leader would sooner use armed violence against us tax payer, than protect the nation.

Liberals have a long history of sending our troops out unprepared, under equipped and often with a target taped to the back of their uniforms..

The New Nation of Buffalo, had better be prepared to treat its Defenders better.

A country that cannot defend itself,is not a real nation..
