You’d Think It Would Be A Lot More

    1. I believe the Mexicans who were surveyed … misunderstood the assignment … and thought they were voting for more American Free Stuff ..

      1. Apparently the Mexico figure includes all the people shouting íPuto! at soccer games.

    2. I would be very surprised it it was anywhere close to 3% anywhere. In a world of lies hey what’s a few more.

  1. That’s how many identify as gay after a 20 year Go-Gay!!! propaganda campaign. About 5%. Used to be 3%. 20 years of gay-everything, and they squeezed out another 2%. Yay team.

    Now do trans.

      1. “Those numbers are about 10 times more than I would have expected”

Yes, because they are absolute BS.

        3%, maximum.

(oh, and there is no such thing as a “transsexual”, either…)

    1. I blame social media. My best friends daughter spent wayyyyyyy too much time on Instagram … and now she’s binding her breasts and going by the name ‘Felix’. If you’re honest with yourself … you’d admit that none of these numbers would have been possible 25 years ago. And that none of these kids were actually … “born that way”

Speaking of disinformation… really dangerous, life changing … disinformation

    2. In all likelihood it’s more or less just transiently bisexual young women being open about it…though I’m not sure what Mexico’s deal is.

    3. According to the DSM-5, among individuals who are assigned male at birth, approximately 0.005 percent to 0.014 percent are later diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Among individuals who are assigned female at birth, approximately 0.002 percent to 0.003 percent are later diagnosed with gender dysphoria.

      Thus saith Psychology Today.

      1. From Statistics Canada:

“Canada is the first country to collect and publish data on gender diversity from a national census.”

“Of the nearly 30.5 million people in Canada aged 15 and older living in a private household in May 2021, 100,815 were transgender (59,460) or non-binary (41,355), accounting for 0.33% of the population in this age group.”

“The proportions of transgender and non-binary people were three to seven times higher for Generation Z (born between 1997 and 2006, 0.79%) and millennials (born between 1981 and 1996, 0.51%) than for Generation X (born between 1966 and 1980, 0.19%), baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1965, 0.15%) and the Interwar and Greatest Generations (born in 1945 or earlier, 0.12%).”

Make of it what you will.

    4. If one goes by media stories, I would have expected five times as many.

In reality, the number is roughly 1%.

But these days, being one of the alphabet folk is in, it’s trendy, especial…make that ONLY on the left.

  2. And If you notice TV commercials, news shows etc … you would think that the majority population in Canada and the US was black and most marriages were mixed race.

White people are the incredible shrinking race.

    1. I’ve noticed that for several years now. Also, Billboard ads portray the same thing.

  3. Stats doctored and/or method of polling not scientific. It’s impossible Mexico to have 12% and Portugal 10%.
But we’ve seen wrong polls before no pb: vaccines work and are safe, world will end in years/months, all vegan diet is healthy etc.

    1. I believe the poll is a propaganda exercise to reinforce alphabet month

    1. Not clear what you are asking – do you mean as these stats were cooked up or in terms of general morality? A pretty good guide to sexual aberrations would be study of sex in other species; what do skinks, skunks and screwbean do and, more importantly, what don’t they do? Aside from some buck rabbits and roosters, nature’s sex acts are instructive as to God’s (evolution’s) intentions for us.

  4. We gave been to Mexico seven times and Portugal once. We always made a habit of getting out and mixing with the locals instead of hiding away on resort properties. The only LGBTQers we ever saw in either country were exclusively tourists.

    1. I’ve been living here for six months. I’ve encountered only two obviously gay men in real life. There seem to be a fair number of traps on dating apps, and a lot of twenty-something girls identifying as bisexual.

      1. “a lot of twenty-something girls identifying as bisexual”

And that right here is probably what’s driving this ‘increase’ in alphabet identification.

        1. I consider bisexual girls or one who experiment a bit in that field to be relatively normal. A tad adventurous even. I find them intriguing. I once briefly dated a girl who I found out later swung both ways and I was not the least bit jealous. But disappointed I wasn’t allowed to be part of a threesome. But same sex male activity I consider disgusting.

  5. 99.7% of Leafs fans are, it’s how they comfort each other when they inevitably lose.

  6. Sounds about right.
Life has little time for perverts and their perversions.
5% of whom say 75% are lying to appear trendy?
But this is a statistic without meaning, for in day to day living no one cares what your sexual preferences are..Do your damn job and “do not hit” on your work mates and you can enjoy an uncomplicated life..
Make every aspect of life about your “Sexual desires” and you become a perversion..
Dang I seem to recall something about this in that Christian Book, the one they stole from the Jew’s…
Sad state of affairs and of content of character, when all one has to “take pride in”is their sexual choices…
    Get a life?
Learn some skill of benefit to society?
    Clean your room?
Jordan Peterson maybe hit a chord here.

  7. I’m just not buying the Mexico 12% stat.
Them and Latin America practically invented machismo culture.

        1. In Mexico when you learn Jesus Loves You…it may require further consideration.

    1. In Latin American culture, only the bottoms are considered gay. “I’m so macho I f*ck other men” is actually a saying here.

  8. I don’t even believe those numbers. Probably a fixed servey to assist the alphabet people during alphabet month.

    1. The only majority muslim country listed (Malaysia) has 3%. I presume it is because
it is one of the few less strict muslim less uncivilized muslim majority countries.

    2. Probably zero, if you lived there would you tell some stranger on the phone you were gay?

  9. The percentage for the USA appears to be constant over the last 40 years or so. When I worked at an in-patient substance abuse treatment center, the official figure for LGBT was approximated at between 3% and 5% back then.

      1. That wasn’t the percentage just in the treatment/rehab center – the 3% to 5% was for the entire population of the US. The figure was basic data to compare the percentages of patients in treatment presenting as LGBT. The comparison showed that the percentages were basically similar to both groups with the treatment population a bit higher but not remarkably so.

        1. A few decades ago, there were 3 extensive surveys, 10,000+ each in USA, France and Sweden. Results from all were very close. Slightly more than 1% of men and slightly less than 1% of women.

  10. the mexico figure makes the whole chart suspect. although to the high side. id believe 3% overall and 0.03 % for trannies. but the whole thing is a horse twitch on the real problem . the economy and the debt .

    1. “the mexico figure makes the whole chart suspect. ”

      It really does.

      “I’d believe 3% overall and 0.03 % for trannies. ”

Me too. Bisexuals ( and people who “experimented” in college) probably skew the numbers a bit.

      1. From what little I know of Mexican men, I would imagine 12% would mean 24% of Mexican women are lesbians. Well 23% at least.

  11. This is a shopping list of funny gay accents. Could take years to get them all down.

  12. Why the differentiator between L and G? B? Give me a break. Start over with just H. Homosexual, people who are attracted to their own sex. It’s still an aberration but we’ve accepted it in our customs and laws – eventually.
The rest? Shear insanity, it has to stop. 2S? What, a bad drunk? People are changing their perspectives on this and the original LG are starting to and the remaining will eventually regret it.

  13. As they say you are born homosexual, how come there are 8 times as many born homosexual in Mexico than there are in Hungary?

    1. Don’t know bout “born homosexual” (Mexico) but later on in life the fri-joles may play a role… 😉

  14. Did they differentiate between those that actively LGBT and those that are doing it for benefits or accolades?

  15. “Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la la la, la la, la la. ”
    How to kill a word…
