  1. The idea of leftist activists running around starting forest fires to bring the climate doom is not far fetched.. But expected..
Im surprised the RCMP are willing to be climate deniers.. Thats the only shocking part of this story..

  2. Does she have a NDP membership? How about a green peace membership? Asking for a freind. We will know soon if the story is buried.

  3. As OttawaMJ points out the story is from 2021.

No worries. Pretty confident 2023 is the same story.

  4. Don’t worry about apologizing. When the data rolls in for 2022 and 2023 it’ll be similar.

    Same as it ever was.

  5. Motive? Social media footprint? Known Associations? Voting history?

You know … all the things that were splashed out in the media if a white man were to go on a murder spree. Where’s the “journalists”? Where’s the investigative reporting? The fact that there is NONE tells me all I need to know … she’s a global Warmist nutter

  6. Look, get real, these increase in the number and intensity of fires is a result of global warming. Pull your heads out of your butts. And yes, some are due to stupid people having campfires and some due to the occasional idiot arsonist.

    1. Lightning used to be a major cause
Not even in the top five
      Campfires
      Arson
      Utilities
      Controlled burns (lol)
      Etc

      1. Nice find I was looking there as well for data for Alberta but found only database files I don’t have the software for. One thing did stud out the data starts in 1931 but whatever I find graphed on a plot starts in the 80th or later. What was it like between 1931 and 1980 inquiring minds like to know.

        1. Americans have better data going back. Interesting stuff.

It seems that many wildfires early in the 20th century tapered off in the middle and
increased again for unknown reasons – nothing to do with CC2.

    2. I thought that the global warming was a result of all these man made forest fires.

    3. Actually no…there is no increase in the number and intensity of fires….certainly not in Canada. In fact, for all of Canada, the number of fires is DECREASING.

Stats from the Natural Resources department show blazes in northern Canada are no more frequent than they were in the 19th Century.

“The decline in fire frequency is due to a decline in human-caused ignitions,” said a department study, adding: “The current rate of burning is still lower than historic levels.”

“The boreal forest of northwestern Canada had a historical fire return interval of 50 to 100 years,

Not the brightest bulb in the wharehouse are we…? Or was that sarcasm..?

If you look you will find an odd occurrence in Alberta: EVERY 4 years we have 300% more “wildfires” than any other year. Aligning perfectly with the Alberta elections cycle. And strangely enough most near the locale of an Oil or Nat Gas hub.

Look no further than to eco terrorists in the pay of the Greens, Notley, Guilbault and salutations from the Turd.

    5. The weather around here is the same as it ever was in the 60 years I’ve been around.

    6. I saw recent articles that seem to indicate that arsonists are playing a bigger role in starting fires than I had previously thought. However, climate change is making it more difficult to deal with these fires.

  7. Happens all the time. In Australia over 200 were arrested over the course of the year in 2020 for starting wildfires outdoors. And yes, the slime-eating legacy media always tries to pretend that the surge in wildfires is evidence of global warming.

  8. My brother worked for the province of Alberta’s forest services some years ago, probably 25+ years anyway. The forest services changed their policy to bring in crews from another area of the province to fight the fires instead of hiring locals. Predictably their was a reduction in fires. Maybe the policy has been reversed.

  9. The internet has been scrubbed of this person. The RCMP had to clean up the mess before they could release the name.
