  1. The goal has always been a lying, fraudulent sham. The real goal is to kill as many people as possible and concentrate wealth and property in the hands of the WEF elitists and their corporate comrades. It is evil and selfish and false.

  2. Hardly surprising. This was a country led for nearly a decade by the astonishingly bad Nicola Sturgeon. Other than a glib tongue at making speeches she was a talentless hack who catered to pedophiles pretending to be women.

  3. Jenn

Backup is fine n dandy – problem is when wind n solar produce .05% of its installed capacity (as it does pretty much 99.999% of the time), youre relying on near 100% fossil fuel energy.

Solar/Wind..?? Feel good – virtue signalling bullshit that deletes areable land, destroys landscapes, kills fowl and produces SFA.

  4. Hi Sh!t for Brains. You just tripled the cost for renewables, and made the CO2 impact equal or worse than burning coal. Idiot.

  5. This is what happens when idiots with no experience get elected.
Can you say Trudeau, Adern, etc etc etc…..

  6. Well Jenn, where do you suppose the fucking money to construct and keep operational the 100% necessary back up comes from? Are those funds over and above the fucking cost of your Green Power? Why are so many Greenies insufferable fucking twats? So many questions…

  7. Everyone talks as if creating jobs is a good thing.

If energy production requires a huge number of jobs then it takes a lot of resources and thus is expensive, which means poorer people will either pay through the nose or freeze in the dark. It’s cheap energy production — that is, production that requires few jobs — that we should be seeking.

    1. Exactly right. The purpose of all energy production since the Ancients has been to reduce the amount of low-value manual labour and increase human productivity. This process started a thousand years ago with the development of grinding mills for flour and the introduction of coal replacing wood. The ideal energy system is with a minimum of manual labour and a maximum of energy output. The closest thing yet devised for this is nuclear power. Which also happens to be the safest.

  8. The old wind and solar ploy.

0.5% of your energy production, 20% of your tax dollar. Windmillbird cemeteries and whale oil fertilizer is the new thing; But we can tell our grandchildren this is where the Environmental fools Ponz scheme lost much of their wealth, destroyed farmland, birds, mammals and fishes.

    1. Hudson reply.

Biden Deputy Energy Secretary David Turk can’t, or won’t, say how spending $50 trillion in taxpayer dollars will reduce global temperatures.
If Canada and America do and the other countries won’t, it ain’t going mean s***.

  9. “How dumb are you?”
Wind and solar are far left on an energy Bell curve.
    So not that dumb.

  10. “You still don’t understand that solar and wind are intermittent and need battery or hydro or natgas back up.”

You people weren’t forthcoming about that fact until recently, and you were forced to admit it. And now, basically, you’re telling us that solar/wind are a boutique power source to make people feel better, while relying on fossil fuels for periods of harsh reality.
Temperatures in Sask are life and death in winter. They can’t play around with this lunacy.

  11. Ah yes, the ol’ “more good paying jobs” trope. The only way socialists can sell their bullshit and of course unions have always lapped it up like cats to milk.
They’re either colossally stupid or willing accomplices while they watch their membership dwindle to nothing.
    Likely both.

  12. Just use the backup and do away with the wind and solar, everything will work fine.

  13. One of the NICEST things about my recent trip to Ireland’s midlands was the fact I didn’t see ONE SINGLE wind tower despoiling the gorgeous Irish countryside. Not ONE. I visited the SURFING capital of Ireland – Lahinch beach, and the cliffs of Moher and the surrounding countryside … not a single FUGLY wind contraption anywhere. Just beautiful countryside, partitioned-off by 1,000 year old hand-stacked stone walls. Congrats Ireland. I hope you can keep your EU Masters from destroying your history with their inefficient, FUGLY, wind machinery.
