Their forthcoming day of vengeance (Apr 1st so they say) seems like a textbook case of terrorism in plain sight, one wonders if the authorities will be prepared to treat it as such, especially if it goes from mere talk to action (but in legal terms, if you get together with a bunch of people and the narrative is “we should go out and kill people” then you’re a terrorist no matter what the foundation of this attitude may be).

    I cannot see any real legal difference between the Nashville incident and any given instance of radical Islamic terrorism. Nor can I see any real difference in sanity levels. However, I do see a disturbing difference in political response. All of which makes you ask how deep and widespread the insanity is becoming.

    1. It’s politically motivated terrorism. There’s no question. They’re trying to play it off as a ‘school shooting’ in the usual nihilist incel loser mold. But this is definitely politically motivated.
