1. The Swedish Church used to be Lutheran, but hasn’t really been Christian at all for quite some time. I have relatives who converted to Catholicism for this reason 60 years ago. Myself, as a Lutheran Atheist, I left the church when I turned 18 (as early as one could back then).

2. There are some seriously dangerous and stupid people out there. Todays Saturday list is just amazing. How we allow such foolishness is beyond comprehension.

   1. Because stupid sheeple don’t like anyone or anything proving they are stupid. So they double down on their stupidity and incoherent ranting. The more they realise their stupidity, the more militant they become in pushing the stupidity they want forced into the mainstream.

   1. Too late. The damage to the salmon is done as years have gone by since the spawning runs have been cut off. Salmon use scent to go back to where they were hatched. It isn’t going to magically start up again. Dumping hatchery fry in the headwaters isn’t going to work either.

6. These alt-conservative types just cannot tear themselves away from the ‘opioid epidemic’. It’s their obsession and it’s easy to see why: conservatives love suffering and hate the idea of people empowered to not be in pain. So they made up an epidemic and blamed CEOs for it while enacting policy that drove people to more dangerous drugs like fentanyl.
