  1. It never ceases to amaze me just how much conservatives insist on killing each other.
    The left is literally tearing the world apart and conservatives are just as likely to shoot a strong conservative candidate and end up with a damn commie instead.

    Conservatives need to understand that there is NO PERFECT conservative candidate. We love to disagree with each other as much as the left. Therefore there is no single leader who can possibly cover the whole conservative camp.

I voted for Trump twice and would do it again based on the alternative, but between his whining that he doesn’t get enough credit for the vax long after anyone with a brain realized it was a failure, along with the Republican Stephanie Abrams (Kari Lake) being on his short list for VP, shows that his ego will still get in the way of effectiveness and that he learned nothing from the horrible selections of people he made to work for him as President,.

He shut the country down, fluffed for Operation Warp Speed, and now has become a shill for Pfizer’s poisonous jabs. When the going got tough in March 2020, Trump crapped himself and let the entire country down. He lost in 2024 because he set in motion the conditions that allowed the Deep State to cheat and steal the election. Finally, Trump says he will pardon all the Jan. 6 political prisoners if he wins in 2024. What the heck good is that doing them now as they sit and rot in the gulags. Trump needs to do much more for these political prisoners; but, as we have all seen, his mouth is a lot bigger than his actions – unlike DeSantis.

    He has some good & bad sides like all candidates, including Trump.
    At the end of the day, GOP needs to support whoever the candidate will be.

    The same applies to Canada. I am very critical of PP on some things, but I will (likely) hold my breath and vote for CPC in any case. The alternative is much worse.

    What people who want change things should do is to become involved and thus be able to change things. Start small, like municipalities, school boards, and similar things. If you feel super-energetic, run for MPP in your province.

    Complaining on SDA is fun, but certainly does not change things one iota.

    Its a decades long psyop, (see Yuri Bezmenov) that has resulted on most people not being able to distinguish fact from fiction or right from wrong, and as such could not pick a candidate based on good policy even if they cared to.

    We are not out worked – we are outcheated – and on top of that the left has used the strategy of running candidates on our side of the aisle for decades.

    I remember when Trump was at first running, then elected- the entirety of the political class and media said he would destroy the economy, start the third world war, divide America, and cause America to lose its standing in the world. Except exactly the opposite happened. Despite the fact that the ruling class in both parties and media, did everything they possibly could to destroy trump and his policies.

    Through it all Trump showed up every day, always impeccably dressed, never breaking a sweat. He is the hardest working politician I have ever seen. And he is the only one I have seen lose money as a result of being in public office.
    Trump is absolutely dedicated to main street America. I know there is no puppeteer running him, nor does he have special interests he is beholden to.

    So because Trump has had the temerity to strike back just has hard at his (and Americas) enemies as they strike him, now he’s somehow unfit for office? For example, the people who are castigating Ron DeSantis for what he *doesn’t* say or do regarding events like the Mar a Lago raid or the (supposed) NYC indictment completely miss the fact that if he DID speak up the MSM would immediately jump on him for “interfering” or “attempting to influence” justice, wouldn’t they?

      If a warrant is issued for Trump and extradition from Florida is requested, *then* we will see what DeSantis is really made of.

  19. As impressive as Desantis qualifications are or may be, he failed in the one thing that would have given him the Presidency in 2028, he failed Trump. If Desantis had been half the politician that people think he is then he should have stood behind Trump from the morning of the 4th. 74 million voters knew that the election was rigged that morning. No incumbent in history gains 12 million more votes in a re-election and loses by 6 million votes unless the vote was rigged. No country in the world pulls out 30 million more voters from one election to the next. That failure, with the rest of the so called Republican party doomed America. The blatant in you face and up your nose theft exhibited by the left should have been challenged from the get go. The left doubled down and bet that the Republicans would not object and the Republicans came through with flyimg colours. Desantis and the rest of the Republican leaders have all stood around as the Honour Guard while the Democrats buried Democracy. Nobody backed Trump when it was required and now it is far too late to correct course. America is done and there was only one bullet fired.
