Trudeau’s Canada

It has become obvious that the Woke Elites in Canada have a hatred for Christians. People around the world are noticing.

It would be fascinating for a Christian to bring a Muslim friend to one of these protests and document the Muslim being tossed out and charged. Or would the authorities completely cower?

Update: The Twitter posts of Calgary’s she/her mayor are very telling. The fact that Danielle Smith seems fine with all of this is also very telling.

  1. Christians are hated by the Left all over the world as are Jews. Muslims are useful to the Left for their hatred of Christians and Jews
just as in a secular sense Antifa is useful to the Left.

Hitler of course, detested the fact that Germany was Christian as Hitler saw Christianity’s beliefs as cowardly and soft while he wished
that Germany had been Islamic as he saw Muslims as being warlike, ruthless and non-compromising. That’s why he allowed the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini to live in Berlin during WWII and broadcast on radio to the Muslim world his anti-Jewish filth, the broadcasts of which were daily transcribed by the American Embassy in Cairo. I have read a lot of them.

Socialists and Communists don’t like competition. They prefer useful idiots and fellow travelers. Christians on the other hand believe in Natural Law – the concept that our rights come from directly from God and government’s only role is to secure those rights.

  2. Why are parents bringing their kids to these things is what I want to know. This isn’t the state sneaking cross dressers into the classroom, this is in a library where parents need to bring their kids in order for them to be exposed. If no kids showed up to the event then they would eventually be dropped.

It’s like blaming the strippers for guys showing up to the strip clubs.

    1. These parents are sick. The poor kids need protection from their parents, as much as the groomers.

      1. Consider that maybe some of these children are in foster care, maybe their handlers are bringing them to corrupt their minds as well as serve another purpose.

  3. Danelle is on record saying she has trans/non binary peeps in her family – it came out in her leadership run. No matter what the opposition says about her being anti-freak, she’s totally on their side.

  4. Re: Danielle Smith
She is not getting rooked into the ‘hate’ game that the left is playing.
So what if she has family queer members? (Can we still use that word?)
I got the sense that she pissed off the lefty with her response.

  5. As is historically consistent, “Conservatives” become enthralled and suckered by conservative economic rhetoric, by a libertarian, who has no socially conservative inclinations or values. She will be silent on abortion for the most part because she will come down on the “women’s (or should I say birthing persons) right to choose.”
She will disappoint just as PP will.

    1. So what do you suggest we do, vote in Notley in Alberta and Trudeau in Ottawa again?

There IS no perfect candidate, and it’s a fantasy to believe some sort of political messiah waits in the wings. We’ll just have to take the best of a bad lot or things will get even worse.

Vote Smith in Alberta, Polievre in Ottawa. Despite their failings, they’re a hell of a lot better than the alternative.

    2. So called true conservatives want 10 things from politicians. Seems like if they can’t get all 10 from a Main Street candidate, they’ll vote for a minor, or fringe candidate.

By voting their so called principles, they get nothing. They go 0 for 10.

Now look at the federal Liberals. They and their voters (detest them as you will) understand that if you are not in power, you get zilch.

Principles are fine, after you win the election.

      1. Deserves to get repeated & emphasized:

So called true conservatives want 10 things from politicians. Seems like if they can’t get all 10 from a Main Street candidate, they’ll vote for a minor, or fringe candidate.

By voting their so called principles, they get nothing. They go 0 for 10.

  6. What exactly do you expect her to do before the next election (at the end of May)? She’s not the one hauling kids to Drag Queen story hour – that’s the parents.

    1. “If the world hates you, know that it hated me first.”

Of course these people hate Christianity. They’ve made their choice, even if they don’t realize it. The final reconciliation with Truth and Justice will not go well for them.

  7. Why is it that only conservatives are coached to compromise?

“In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win”. — Ayn Rand

    1. Not true. The left has fought decades of incremental encroachment. They see the endstate as a distant target and have been willing to “boil the frog”. If conservatives want their end state, they too must learn to fight asymmetricly and incrementally.

    2. Regarding conned/March 19, 2023 at 9:16 pm/Why is it that only conservatives are coached to compromise?
Here’s why: ‘the Left’ is a cultural/voting and consider any who aren’t with them to also be a cultural/voting block, hence ‘the Right’ when in fact the so-called Right is merely composed of all who aren’t ‘the Left’ ie; people who wish to remain independent-minded. People not of ‘the Left’ rarely agree/vote together on policies/ideas/issues thus ‘Conservatives’ (who are not a voting block as can easily be seen in this discussion) have been easily coerced into always compromising Leftwards.

  8. Back in my more naïve days I was involved in the anti nuclear weapon debate Afterwards it came out the movement was funded by the Soviets, if I recall correctly. I am wondering if this trans debate is being stoked and or funded by the enemies of our society and soul. Just wondering

    1. Stop wondering. Yes, enemies who do not want these things for themselves will want them for us.

    2. Of course it is. There will always be useful idiots for communists to manipulate into destabilizing their societies. Open war costs too much nowadays. A few million here and there to fund these fools is a lot cheaper than hundreds of billions.

    3. What happened was the Soviet Union covertly funded all kinds of organizations as part of a long-term strategy to destabilize the West and make it vulnerable to a takeover. Bezhmenov laid all of this out very explicitly.

When the Soviet Union fell, the money stopped but by that point the subversive organizations they’d created – the anti-nuke -> environmentalist movement, the civil rights -> anti-racism movement, the universities, the political parties – had become large enough to become self-sustaining. They were no longer puppets but wind-up toys; they didn’t need advice and support from the Mother Country any more to continue wreaking havoc.

Now, I have no doubt that countries like China have stepped in and started providing funding again to these groups; we know China uses its control of social media apps to push degeneracy in the West that it doesn’t allow domestically. But the groups are there and operating independently regardless.

The question is whether we’re too far into Bezhmenov’s “demoralization” stage to recover. I think we probably are. In Canada and the UK it’s obvious; the US is perilously close to its point of no return.

      1. That Notley is even an option shows me just where the people of Alberta are in the freedom line up. Communists should not be on a ballot anywhere, NDP are freaking communists and always have been. Using the word socialist is not adequate.

    1. Stupid is as stupid does. Smith fired the AHS Board that Notley PUT into place. She fired Verna Yui. She fired Hee-haw. Those moves already put her a full head higher than Kenney. You want Notley to wreck havoc in Alberta again? If not then pls don’t be stupid, hold your nose and vote for the other one.

    2. “I spoil My ballot. I won’t be a part of this crap”

Kat, I feel your pain. In my entire life I’ve never, ever, even once, voted strategically. I strolled into the polling location like I owned it, voted for the candidate I thought was superior & walked out, secure in my knowledge that I had done what was best.

      I was wrong.

I don’t like DS, either. However, as others have noted, a spoiled ballot is a vote for Red Rachel. I don’t want that shit back. Do you?

As a believer in the Take Back Alberta movement, last year they noted that, in order to get rid of Kenney The Liar, we would have to buy a UPC membership & vote the bastard out. My immediate, off the cuff reaction was, F-no! The mere idea burned like acid. Give money to the bastards that did this to Albertans? Not a chance!

After some sober second thought, it became obvious that this was the only way. I bought my membership, along with about 17,000 other Albertans, and we got rid of him. Step one accomplished.

Step 2 was to bring someone in who was at least remotely sympathetic to our cause. I didn’t want to vote for DS (again, burned like acid), but she was the best of a bad lot and the only one whose campaign came even remotely close to making sense. I swallowed my bile & voted for her. Mission accomplished.

Step 3 was to get sympathetic candidates elected to the 18 person provincial board. Half the board is eligible for election every other year. You pays your $135 (this is starting to burn less…), you attend the meeting, you vote. All 9 elected members are supported by TBA. Woohoo! Once again, mission accomplished.

The important thing to know here is that the provincial board wields significant power & has the ability to revoke UPC memberships, up to and including the Premiere’s. Think about that for a moment…

Step 4 is to get DS re-elected. If Red Rachel gets in, all the hard work that Albertans have done, all the money we’ve spent on memberships & events, all the time we’ve put in to ensure we got rid of The Liar Kenney & get DS in, is gone. If you think that the Liar Kenney was a sonuvabitch (and he was!), wait ’til that haggard-looking bitch, Red Rachel, gets in again. You’ll never breathe free air in this province again. Look around you, see what’s happening in blue provinces & states. We still have a chance, a singular opportunity, to avoid that.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is likely the single, most important provincial election of your life. Get out & vote. Get your family, friends, neighbours out to vote, too. Focus on first time voters (18-22 year olds) and <30's. They are the least likely to vote &, if they do vote, the most likely to vote for the Commies.

The time to strike is now. We may never have this opportunity again. I implore you (and any other Albertans within reading distance), think about our future, your future, your children's future, your grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's future.

TBA's David Parker has vowed to conduct 100 meetings prior to the election. I've been to three in the last 5 weeks. He has around 50 or so to go. Find out about them, attend one, listen to what he has to say. Won't cost you a cent, they're free.

Please, don't let the Commies in by spoiling a ballot.

      1. Dude, I’m thinking you’re not such a dumb biker. I was gonna get my hair done on whichever day this election unfolds as I consider DS a lying sleazy bitch just as much as the commie one is.

But you make a superb argument that we need to stop the commies and support the 15000 folks who cared enough to make a bad situation less bad.

        I will do my part.

        Thanks

      2. “But I will not, ever, hold my nose and vote for a moron.”

Kat, think of it this way: Get her elected, get a few more sympathetic candidates (enough for a consistent majority) elected to the provincial board, and DS can be our useful idiot… 😉

      3. Frank, thx for the complement. However, I’m merely parroting what has been driven into my thick, stubborn skull for the last year. I attended my first TBA meeting over a year ago, in a quonset on a snow-covered farm at the side of a gravel road on a dark, chilly winter night, with a few dozen grass-roots compadres along side. My kind of atmosphere, my kind of people. Since then I’ve been to eight meetings, scattered all over southern Alberta, some as close as a couple miles, one 50 miles away, attended by hundreds of like-minded folk who just want to be left alone, not ruled.

At first, I was merely angry, wanting to shoot from the hip, like many others. What David was suggesting seemed so out of reach as to be almost fantastical. Slowly, surely, it started coming together. Yet, here we are, with 3 solid victories behind us and the most important challenge in the fore front. The hope is palpable.

Albertans are famous for our resiliency, but we also need to be politically smart & resourceful. Let’s use the tools at hand against our enemies. Get involved locally: library boards, school boards, town council, constituency associations, etc., etc., etc. Many positions can be had merely by showing up. Others, by presenting a solid, grass-roots position in an election. Later on, if push comes to shove, we’ll deal with it. Right now, we still have a peaceful, lawful “out”.

How many of us have spoken to our mayor, councillors, MLA and expressed our satisfaction or dissatisfaction with a recent decision or ruling? Or offered input on an upcoming piece of legislation? David Parker notes that Canada’s national pastime is political apathy. He’s correct! We deserve what we get because far too many of us expect our politicians to “fix” it for us. Horseshit! We need to get up off the couch, grab the bull by the horns & fix it ourselves. Politicians do not fix things, they screw things up. People fix things.

I’m fortunate enough to have met my MLA two summers ago & I have his phone number. I text him regularly on things, and call up occasionally. I call my MP’s office a few times a year & express my criticism (There hasn’t been much to congratulate her for. Like, zero.). I know my mayor personally & we have frequent conversations about what’s going on locally, especially after being burned multiple times by the last one.

Hear that sound? That’s the winds of change. We can do this, people.

  9. Regarding Smith on this issue….

As Desmond Tutu said, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”

  10. “ Principles are fine, after you win the election.”
Like in Mulroney Harper and Manning????

    More coaching eh.

  11. In a pigs Fucn ass Danielle Smith is ok with this You whining pricks would bitch if u were hung with a new rope

  12. This crap is just a distraction- a tiny wedge. Hammered in to the smallest crack to fracture the strongest of rock. These tactics have been used many times by many different political forces, because it works. So they keep trotting these things out knowing full well it will trigger normal, regular folks. That’s the point, provoke a reaction to an absurdity to probe for weakness. Which is then used to get the triggered to not vote for the strong candidate, who, being politically astute, is trying to not take the bait hook, line, and sinker, because if she does she’s handed the other side an even more powerful weapon to hammer with.

And here we are, fractured. This is how the NDP wins. This time they’ll finish the job. Alberta as we know it will be finished in May.

  13. What I am seeing in this thread is what I’ve commented on numerous times before: we’ve reduced voting to a horse race because we compromise again and again and again.

Social conservatism and fiscal conservatism go hand in hand.

Vote For Danielle in this mare race but don’t be surprised when she bends for the weirdo crowd and then bends for other things.

    1. If you don’t vote for Smith, you get Notley.

And you get even more of what you don’t like.

      1. Again, this is my point.

        It’s a horse race.

We the electorate settled for the worst of the worst. We never held anyone to account. We didn’t want to talk about certain issues and ran to “safe” ones in the hopes of securing a candidate who was neither socially no fiscally conservative.

You are asking people to choose one bad candidate over someone who is worse.

This is the state of democracy in Canada.

        Isn’t anyone disgusted?

        1. “Isn’t anyone disgusted?”

Very. Which is precisely why a few of us are trying to change that, where we can. Canada as a country is done. There are too few grass-roots people to effect significant change.

For a few provinces, however, there is still hope.

  14. Smith is right to stay quiet on most controversial topics, she needs to win the election.

What the hell good does it do for anyone for her to rant on all the topics conservatives love to then lose the election??
Will that make you feel better?

      1. V, it’s strategic voting. I don’t like it, but in this case, it’s all we have. See my post above in response to Kat.

        1. You are correct….those who “spoil their ballots” are imbeciles. You do the best you can with what you have. Doing otherwise is simply cutting off your nose to spite your face.

  15. What’s next liberals, stripper bars for kiddies? I am sick to death of the abnormals forcing the rest of us to hide in the shadows while they prey on children? Fat obese men tarted up in ugly costumes making fun of my gender while being lewd and vulgar is offensive to most of society. It should be illegal to bring children to those venues period, make it a crime to bring minors to adult entertainment.

    1. Regarding Rose/March 20, 2023 at 9:44 am/What’s next liberals, stripper bars for kiddies?
In fact the Drag Queens are stripper bars for kiddies, and a recent Cold Lake city council meeting reveled that while they have a bylaw against strip clubs/burlesque, that law does not apply to LGBT, only to strait people; here’s the video:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-E4uShKER8Q
Video _ Cold Lake Feb 28th 2023 city council meeting.
Resident Leighton Grey @ 1:23:00 _ “By the way, that performance we watched (Drag Queen) is only legal because that person identifies as transgendered. If that person was cis-gendered, that is a biological woman, she could not do that performance without breaking our law.”

  16. That’s right Joe. You get the same thing just slower. Like the frog in the frying pan.

Could it be that those of us who see the weakness in “conservative leadership” to sell their supposed conservative beliefs as the real cancer that has inflicted the right in Alberta since Ralph?
Could it be that they do not have the courage of their stated convictions?
Attack me if you will but I challenge my detractors to point to one conservative government in Canada who’s economic rhetoric was followed up with conservative action.
You demand that “social conservatives” shut up and suggest that voting for economic conservatives is the best we can hope for but then disappoint us when in office with liberal light.

I’m not trying to divide but rather trying to nudge the right to the right and to be more honest, and believe in the power of your convictions.
Learn how to sell “conservative” (social and fiscal) positions instead of attacking those who point out the obvious timid approach.

  17. Lots of hullabaloo over an NHL Sharks goalie refusing to be bullied into wearing an LGBT jersey.

Apparently the jersey is supposed to stop gays from being persecuted but are they actually being persecuted anywhere in North America today?
And who would be persecuted more in Canada today, someone wearing a rainbow T-shirt or someone wearing a Freedom T-shirt?
When is the NHL going to have a MAGA jersey night?
Can they force their players to wear a MAGA jersey?

  18. Some of the confusion here is intentional: This is not a ballot choice between Smith and Notley since they’re not running in the same electoral district, so refusing to, or even holding-your-nose to vote for Danielle Smith can only apply to the 50,000 citizens of Brooks-Medicine Hat electoral district where she is the sole MLA. Find out who is running in your district and vote.

    1. Fair enough observation. Last election Shannon Phillips won by about 230 votes in Leth West. That’s pitiful. The target districts are those which are currently held or threatened by the Commies. That said, we cannot be complacent about any of them.

  19. As much as I hate to say it, Pierre Trudeau made a cogent point many decades ago….he said something to the effect that if you are embarking on a long sea voyage, you only have to apply an imperceptibly small amount of deflection to the rudder that the passengers cannot perceive to put you at a future landing place far, far away from the original destination.

So those of you who are howling for immediate change better consider the reality of the situation. Getting back to a sense of “non-stupidity” will take time….but it ain’t gonna happen if imbeciles “spoil their ballot” or stay home and let the lunatics take over.

  20. “Don’t cut the rattle off the rattlesnake. The silence is more dangerous for you than it is for the snake. “
    — “Robert F. Graboyes

Daniel tanked the conservative cause once before so many of us are watching with a critical eye. When we sense danger and start rattling oh how the “party” soldiers want us to be silent.
Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong , but knowing the difference between right and almost right.

Holding her feet to the fire is where your efforts and energy is needed.

    1. “Daniel tanked the conservative cause once before so many of us are watching with a critical eye. “

      Yes.

“Holding her feet to the fire is where your efforts and energy is needed.”

      Hell, yes!

      1. Oh, come on! Hold her feet to the fire, all you’ll get is scorched feet and ruined socks.

  21. Strikes me many of us,still believe the good ship Canada is afloat and bound for some distant port..
Got some bad news for you.
It is aground, with the hull torn open from stem to stern..
No amount of bailing,by the black crew,is going to save her.
Either we man the lifeboats of independence or we go down with the ship..
And voting for “The Lesser Evil” has brought us to these reefs.
    Abandon Ship.
