    1. Amazing what a maximum increase of 1.5 degrees has in changing everything. Considering that the temperature in Alberta varies by close to 70 degrees Celsius during every year and sometimes by 40 degrees in a day, we are pretty laid back.

      1. We are frightened to death by an (entirely speculative) increase in temperature that is a fraction of what each of us experience between breakfast and lunch. The gullibility of Western society is just bewildering.

      2. Quite. Here in Ottawa we go from -30C to +30C in 6 months, then back again 🙁

    1. > what to do if they are killed in the war
I’d say, celebrate the resulting improvement in the genetic makeup of the Earth population.

      1. Also rejoice that beatings will not comeback even if the soup was too salty.

        1. I know more Ukrainians that beat their wives than I do Russians. But, then again, I also know way more Ukrainians than I do Russians.

    1. Tesla’s next ad campaign. Our cars have built-in theft deterrents. Failing batteries means thieves can’t go far!

  1. Ukrainian War Illusions
All they want you to do is believe the illusion: America is saving the world from Putin, who is an enemy, not only because he’s Russian, but because he, according to their complex false narrative, helped Donald Trump win the presidency in 2016.
All things serve the narrative. No matter what happens politically in the world, if the statist globalist cartel that firmly believes the only way to fix anything is to insert more government into the problem is involved, what is on the surface for you to see is simply an illusion. All things serve the leviathan. All things feed the behemoth. All signs point to tyranny, and feeding the agenda that is designed to lead the whole world to a global version of mass collective communism.
The ends justify the means. The goal is power, wealth, and control. That’s it. It is that simple.

    1. I misread that, although it also makes sens The ends justifies the news

  2. Injured Marine recalls deadly Kabul suicide blast as House Republicans scrutinize Afghanistan withdrawal

Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews, 25, said his unit had warned commanders that they saw two suspects in the chaotic crowd outside Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 26, 2021, that fit a description flagged by U.S. intelligence, but the Marines were denied permission to shoot.

    1. High River needs to dump them. That town should be the most aware of how the RCMP cannot be trusted.

  3. Again, YESSSSSS!!!

Alberta introduces new firearms legislation in latest pushback against Ottawa gun ban

    https://archive.is/zZhDp#selection-909.0-909.85

“The Alberta Firearms Act, introduced in the legislature on Tuesday, is the latest push by the United Conservative government against Ottawa’s ban and buyback program aimed at restricting “assault-style” weapons. Last September, Mr. Shandro directed the RCMP not to enforce the federal government’s program. Alberta has joined lawsuits that challenge the constitutionality of banning certain guns.”

Further, echoing SK, legislation is being introduced to ban federal trespassing on private land:

Alberta plans to bar federal employees from trespassing

““We have seen landowners take matters into their own hands.

    “People might get hurt.””

Then stay the hell off private property! Driving a truck around w/ a gov’t plate doesn’t give you carte blanc. The sooner you realize this, the safer your dumb ass will be.

  4. Loved the link to Willie Nelson concert. No flashy stage show – just great music that I can relate to.

  5. Lawsuits. Lawsuits, everywhere…

The Chair of the January 6 Select Committee Just Made a Damning Admission

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2023/03/09/the-chair-of-the-january-6-select-committee-just-made-a-damning-admission-n2620394

“Carlson added that Chansley’s lawyers didn’t have access to these tapes. Moreover, the January 6 Select Committee chair, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), didn’t even review them before forcibly plunging the nation through this kangaroo court.

“I’m actually not aware of any member of the committee who had access [to the footage]. We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video,” he said.”

Yeah, I’ll let that just stand on its own.

  6. The libranos have their shorts on mighty tight these days. They have denied any and all knowledge of liberal candidates receiving funding from the chicoms in the ’19 and ’21 elections. Bongo hizself said he knows nothing.

This is plausible as the Bong isn’t known for his attention to detail. I have related this tidbit before but Jason Kenney when he was a cab minister in the Harper government tells the story about having the Bong sit on committees (Bongo was a librano backbencher at the time). Kenney said the Bong was the least prepared of any on the committee. He’d never read the material, didn’t know what was going on and couldn’t contribute and could care less.

Based on his lack of interest in details one could believe he doesn’t like to sit through briefings and have to hear things he doesn’t want to listen to. His staff however have to listen to briefings on matters of national interest. If the Bong doesn’t want to listen, Kate Telford certainly has to. She would know that CSIS warned the highest level of government about chicom activities. She may have not bothered to tell the Bong as it looked like the libranos were going to win.

So now the shit has hit the fan. The libranos want this gone and do not want an inquiry where Telford would be called to testify. The libranos know she has the goods and if she didn’t purger herself would sink the government. That is why they are stonewalling, walking out of committee so there isn’t a quorum and doing whatever they can to confound the situation.

This story is one detail away from some woman cop arresting the Bong, grabbing him by the back of the neck and his pants and frog marching him down the stairs to an awaiting paddy wagon. OK ok we could all only wish.

Without legacy media we wouldn’t even know about the librano corruption.

  7. While I’d love to see gov’ts at all levels ‘held to account’ for their draconian Covid policies, we all know that lawsuits, should they be successful (doubtful), will be paid for by the very people subject to those draconian policies. Politicians never pay a price, never apologize, because in their minds they’re never responsible or wrong.
