COLLEGE PARK EARNS PERFECT SCORE IN MUNICIPAL EQUALITY INDEX
College Park, MD December 4, 2020 – The City of College Park has a earned a perfect score in the Human Rights Campaign’s 2020 Municipal Equality Index (MEI) for the City’s commitment to the health, welfare, safety, equality and inclusiveness of its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. “The City of College Park aims to be a welcoming community for all, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity;” said Mayor Patrick L. Wojahn, “this rating by the Human Rights Campaign recognizes our true commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity.”
