        I spent many an evening drenched in (illegal) ganja smoke at Winterland … sadly, this performance predated my appearances by about 2 years. I must say … anyone who can take a George Gershwin standard operetta aria … add some dirty psychedelic blues guitar and organ … and turn Pearl loose on the Quarter … deserves eternal praise. Gotta say … a performance like that just makes me happy to be a human. Not a sad human, like all those who moan and whine about the fakiry of Global Warmism

          2. BTW … during the day, while working, I mostly stream my favorite local radio station – KVHS
            Yes … a HIGH SCHOOL Radio station that broadcasts mostly great songs from the 1960’s and 1970’s … but also have dedicated time for Jazz, R&B, etc. You should try it out. It sounds like college radio stations did back in the day … lots of B-sides, and back catalog music from top acts … and … lesser know bands who put out spectacular music

    1. I always get a kick out of that sort of thing…..having been to many places in my life time it seems that wherever I have gone, there is some kind of comment that their area is “warming at a rate faster than the global average”.

      1. Everywhere is warming faster than everywhere else. We hear this dialogue all the time, and it simply highlights how meaningless the claim of a single temperature value for the entire planet is. (“Yes, we took an average of the temperature at the top of Mount Everest, and the lowest point in Death Valley and here’s what it means for the future…”) There is no nonsense as absurd as climate nonsense, although gender nonsense is certainly right up there.

  3. I can cherry pick interesting things out of my nose as well.. Include, exclude.. Adjust the time table.. The computer model can tell any story you want. That’s the danger of those damned things..

    Put it in the hands of people with a political or economic agenda to hand monopolies to their friends and we are on the road to ruin..
    The new economy is our economy turned over to a bunch of nutcase leftists to do as they please.. Based on a circle jerk computer model..

  4. I noticed -52 C on one reading earlier this month.

    I was in Sydney, Australia one winter when a ship from France known as ”L’Astrolabe” docked at the Australian Naval Harbour. They put on a display at a nearby naval museum. L’Astrolabe was involved in carrying scientists and supplies for experiments on Antarctica. Twas Interesting to look at temperature records on that continent. The Astrolabe of that era has since been replaced by a newer model. (2016)

    Forgot it was the Southern Summer,until I got a picture from my NZ brother in shorts ,outside drinking a beer..

  6. That’s why it was re-named “Climate Change.” Cuz other than a few True Believers, no one who spends much time outside would ever believe it is getting significantly warmer.
