    1. Nah. I’d identify as a Commissioner. Fewer concussions (probably), more money AND you can sit your butt in NYC most of the time. Ok that’s not a great selling point for most of us…

  5. I’m old enough to remember a time when all these leagues (NHL, NFL etc) and sport events (FIFA/Soccer) were just playing sports.
    And not posturing, virtue signalling and BSing.

  6. Before the left politicized “trans” and rewarded the adherents with significant political power, CDC data indicated that gender dysphoric people were 6 per 100,000. I doubt that has truly changed.
    But now that trans comes with all the extra bells and whistles and benefits, all manner of people are signing up.

      2. Yes, did I read here? Not sure…of a kid who as a boy was 72nd in his state…now as a girl…he’s first.

        1. The thing is, we have been accumulating data for a century measuring both biological sexes running a certain distance, swimming a certain distance, jumping a certain way, etc.

          Using that data, the top ranked women in the world of any age at those things have similar performances as the top ranked 15-16 year old males in a large state like Texas.

  19. I don’t even want to try to understand this but… could this explain why the Leafs can’t win the cup? Too much estrogen on the ice maybe. I will be watching for alternate uniforms to accomodate breasts, figure skates, crying on the bench, and penalties for breaking a nail… hmmm now that I think about it we might have had trans players for a few years already.

And non-binary is real if and only if you accept that gender is fluid and highly variable; perhaps it is, but as a mental illness it could respond to therapy. Sex is genetically defined at conception and, with the rare exception of biological hermaphroditism, there are only two sexes that are possible. Your move.
