35 Replies to “Perfectly Normal (For A Banana Republic)”

  1. I touched on that earlier this morning. It isn’t “normal” it’s gas lighting bullshit is what it is. The media talks down to you as if you’re a halfwit.

    1. Because of the time it will take states to process mail-in ballots, it’s possible several states won’t be called on election night, especially if the races are close.

What? What do close elections have to do with COUNTING? Unless there’s a recount … the COUNT is the COUNT. And I’m not talking about premature “calling” of elections before the COUNT is in … I’m talking about the COUNT … the FULL COUNT … ALL of which should be accomplished ON Election DAY … it’s 2022 … we HAVE the technology. Duh.

BTW … my local leftist Fox News station didn’t call today “Election Day” … they called it the “Last Day to Vote”. WTHF!? Perhaps they need to reread the US Constitution. Nevermind … that old paper relic was shit on and tossed into the SF Bay decades ago. Eh?

      1. Wherever there is funny business happening, they need a full audit, not recount. Fine tooth comb.
That’s the only way to restore whatever trust is left.

        1. Widespread reports of vote counting machines going down. The reported problem? Someone entered the password too many times locking up the machines. Yeah … sounds intentional. Happening EVERYWHERE in Maricopa Co. AZ

  2. None of this matters. We’re waaaay past the illusion of democracy.

This will determine who gets to print off more money and try to do the last bit of looting before the poisoned, hungry masses scorch the place. Any new democrat who wants to saunter over to the trough now is even stupider than the average dem…

    1. Probably the same thing that happened in Arizona in 2020. People claimed someone else voted for them using their mail in ballot, when it was just a ballot was sent out.

  3. Psaki in her tweet, says that 70% of requested mail-in ballots were by Dems. I’m sure I read somewhere that Dems ordered 156% of the mail-in ballots…
    /sarc

    1. 70%, ugh sure, two years ago they were dumping blocks of thousands of votes all for Captain Alzheimer, but now we’re down to 70%. Sure.

Vote early, vote often, and if that is not enough make sure your side counts the ballots while observers are kicked out. That’s the dhimicrat way.

  4. It appears that the U.S. will have to use the died purple finger tactic to ensure election integrity….like they do in other third world countries.

    1. The Tuesday next after the 1st Monday in November, in every even numbered year,is established as the day for the election, in each of the States and Territories of the United States, of Representatives and Delegates to the Congress commencing on the 3d day of January next thereafter.

The US Constitution established an election DAY. And mind you this was during the era of horse, buggy, and muddy dirt trails … wherein it could take far more effort to get to the polling place than dropping your ballot in a conveniently located ballot box for a period of 4 weeks.

The writers of the US Constitution could have established a “period” of voting. They could have given us a voting week … or weeks. Why didn’t they? My answer? Because the longer it takes to vote … the GREATER the possibility of cheating and irregularities. The framers of our Constitution were smart men … very smart.

  5. The anti-democratic plague of mail-in ballots has to end. Only those with a verifiable disability that prevents them leaving their home to partake of in-person voting should be permitted that scurrilous privilege.

    1. 100% agreed. Mail in ballots only in extraordinary circumstances. All else has to be in person voting with picture ID.

    2. Pity there won’t be an ‘end’ – don’t think there will be another go-around if the Rs blow this one – this is it – as Metalguru stated above.

All hail mail-in voting and Dominion Voting Systems.

    3. I’m perfectly fine with excluding even them. If someone is so disabled they cannot leave their home, they are a net burden on society and should not be allowed to decide its future.

Originally only land-owning white men could vote in the US. Same with Periclean Greece. Heinlein proposed only allowing veterans to vote. The notion of the universal franchise is peculiarly modern.

      1. Well, the original idea was that those who would be affected by a policy should have a voice in making it. Policies that required tax money required the consent of the taxpayers. Policies that risked bloodshed required the consent of those likely to be at risk. When there were limits on taxation and on liability to military service, it made sense to limit the franchise. In the age of total war and universal taxation, are those limits still realistic?

    4. roaddog:

Nope. You can’t make it you don’t vote.
Sounds heartless but suck it up. You’re disabled? You’ve handled far tougher challenges than not being able to vote, and notwithstanding high school civics texts (is that still a thing?) your vote doesn’t really count.
      No exceptions.
You’re out of the country on election DAY too bad. Postpone the trip or don’t vote.
No exceptions. This “prevented from leaving the house” would be a loophole. The house-bound population would soar and curiously 70% of the house-bound would be Dems.
PAPER BALLOTS AT POLL STATIONS RESULTS SAME DAY.

  6. The grift continues.

Did you even bother to read the articles?

Do you want to double votes counted?

Do you want to mail in ballots processed before election day? Not tabulated, processed. You can thank Republican lawmakers for that one.

  7. Like Stalin said “Who you vote for does not mater, it only maters who counts the ballots.”

    1. And Lyndon Johnson always had one or two places which would delay counting until the rest of the district was counted. Thus, they knew how many votes they needed to win.

      1. If there is a large enough REP turnout , it may not be possible to cheat a DEM win , as the fraud would need to be so blatant it would be visible and call into question the entire election.

That said with electronic Dominion voting systems it would be easy to statistically create a slight DEM win in any district needed so as not to appear blatant,

BTW : Dominion voting systems were used in the recent Ontario election and will no doubt be used in the next Federal election.

  8. Republican’s pickup first House seat in Deep blue Guam-at-large which is voted Democrat since 1993.

    REP James Moylan 12,446 52%
DEM Judith Won Pat 11,182 47%

Last election Republican candidate got 21% of the vote.

This district was not supposed to be competitive and on no one’s radar!

    1. It could change, some boxes of found ballots could trickle in the next few days.
      All in the Dims favor.

    1. Joe … that was my point above … if the REP count is sufficiently large , the “cheat” ALGORITHM needs to be adjusted , but that may of may not be possible without revealing the fraud.

      1. You have a good point, Brian.
But if the cheat algorithm (great phrase – I’m stealing it) was not large enough to bring down the results in 2020, how great does it have to be before even the courts cannot pretend that it should not be overturned?
How hot does the water have to get before even the frog knows he is being poached?

    2. I’m guessing they cannot print ballots. Those machines are networked. It’s the tabulation machines which are not networked.

  9. If there is not a Red Landslide you will know one of two things:
    1) The electorate have become mentally deranged or….
    2) The fix is in.

  10. If the Democrats lose, look for Antifa to start their shit.
Hopefully this time they’ll be Rittenhoused everywhere they show.

  11. With all due respect, one of the things slowing down the Philly vote is the they voted last minute to reconcile mail in votes to make sure there wasn’t the same person voting in-person.

    That bodes poorly for Dems….

  12. To these conservative poll watchers.
How is it that you are allowing yourselves to be kicked out?
