    1. The arguments and rationality supporting oil and gas are overwhelmingly to the positive while the arguments for the climate change hysteria and green energy agenda are overwhelmingly ignorant and fallacious. You have to be incredibly ill-informed and ignorant to say that there is a climate change crisis and just as ignorant to think that CO2 and oil and gas are causing an existential climate crisis. CO2 is absolutely vital for planet earth and we need more CO2 in the atmosphere for plant growth and high agricultural yields. Will Happer, a physicist from Princeton University makes this point very well.
The climate change hysteria and the proponents of green energy should be ridiculed back into their caves. The crazies are running the asylum. Unless we rid ourselves of absurdity we will soon find ourselves living in a very cold, dark, and dangerous world. Personally, I think it is inevitable. It won’t be because we run-out of energy or technology won’t be there to provide the high standards of living. It will be because we are morally bankrupt that the lights won’t come on and we freeze in the dark.

      1. This will be the penultimate (to date) winter of the “Eat or Heat” decision-matrix.

I don’t wish anyone ill, but hope some people learn how absurd the claims of the Climate Nutters really are.

  1. And the Muricans keep laffing at the Ont-Que elites
Ever wonder why/when a Cdn NHL team will ever win a Cup again?
    Betcha an athletic supporter (cup)

  2. That article is 21/2 years old and still stands as the trend. Canada should be renamed, ‘Arrested Development’. The state apparatus that includes the Indian Industry, Judiciary, ENGOs, academia, federal, provincial and city bureaucracies and their public sector unions, and regionally centered in the East- is against growth in the most competitively advantageous industry in Canada. They now can watch how Germany, the UK, and California make out to preview their future.

    1. The Spawn-Fuhrer is a completely innumerate Fuhrer. Hydrogen advocacy is the litmus test for such. He relies on the zealotry of Butts to fill the void to form his opinions. The Canadian voting Eloi are almost as innumerate but definitely as culpable. Mexico appears to be the least corrupt regime of North America.

      1. Anyone who had actually passed 2nd year Engineering (unlike the Spawn) could tell you that more energy (from Natural Gas, oil, or coal) is requited to extract hydrogen than the aforementioned hydrogen will yield once extracted.
But math is hard. And hydrogen sounds so clean and cooool!
If we wanted to help Germany, we would be shipping LNG, not promising hydrogen in a distant utopian future.
But we cannot build court approved pipelines if there are a dozen dirty hippies standing in the way, even tho said hippies drove or flew to the protest site, informed by their plastic cell phones, powered by Evil Oil. Cannot move them, nope nope nope. The JBT who abused the Truckers are not available at present.
        We are so screwed.

  3. So much environmental red tape.. So many foreign environmental NGOs.. Impossible to not find 12 natives against the project.. Why on earth would you invest in that..

  4. Well we can be thankful the government hasn’t stepped up and decided to run the projects. I believe Trans mountain was initially budgeted at 4.5 billion. Then the budget was 7 billion when the government took over. Currently 30 billion has been spent. It is scheduled to be operational one year from this coming Christmas. I was told by someone who has been working on it for a number of years that the deadline will not be met. And the out of control cost continues. Upon completion it is rumored to be turned over to first nations. Wow,just wow.

  5. The day they make water (hydrogen) a energy source is the day energy will no longer be finite.. Our entire society will have nothing to fight over anymore and as a result of the disgusting harmony we will all commit mass suicide..

More than one reason why we cant find life on other planets..

  6. Don’t forget to remind the green idiots about these when the Euros are dying of cold and hunger this winter.

  7. Talking with a gentleman a couple of years ago on my jobsite. He said he had just finished a multi-billion $$ contract working in the eastern foothills of the Rockies.

    What project you ask?

The building of a nuclear reactor. But, he said, he was just finished the complete erasure of any scrap of evidence of the complex.

He said he had signed a non-disclosure of leaking any info. He said the complex was completely finished, including cement pilings in the hundreds for earthquake stability, 30-40 meters deep. All that was left to complete was to have the turbines which were in the deep south States ready to be loaded on the trucks, shipped and installed.

    But…

Rachel Notley and the NDP cancelled the project and ordered the gag order and rip the whole thing down, including the pilings, and leave no remnant.

Where is the media and where are whistleblowers who worked on that project? The financial incentive must have been substantial.
